One day at a time... I was at the DAV Convention this weekend. I help other veterans file claims for injuries they got during their active duty service. I stopped at VA (veterans administration) Loma Linda Hospital for my 4th round of antibiotics... on my was to the convention. And this is where my friends and I (all training at the convention) had dinner Friday night. There was fun and relaxing music, and the food was fantastic at The Cliff Restaurant on PCH Laguna Beach. I enjoyed watching the sky change from moment to moment...

After 2 weeks of being ill, I realize that I have learned/re-learned so much from my downtime. 1. I so appreciate my health. It's been 11 years since I have been this ill, and I so appreciate my health and all of the working parts 😀. 2. It is easy to put things off, and now I no longer want to wait to do things, I choose now, and including time in my schedule for them including time with friends, and travel. 🧚‍♀️ 3. I have put off writing a book for way too long. Now I have no more excuses. I am writing today. And everyday. 💫 and finally, i take the time to work in my garden. Even if it is just a little every day, it gives me sunshine, and dirt under my fingernails which seems to be emotionally healthy for me. 🌱

Life has been expanding... and as a normal part of the "cycle," sometimes that means turning within. For 2 weeks after returning home, I have been sick, with an inner ear infection. And it is really interesting to discover how debilitating it can be. It will be done soon. And, I now appreciate a working ear, and a brain that is not fuzzy due to pressure and pain. Remember to be grateful for all of your working parts, including your brain. In the last 2 weeks, I have kicked sugar and junk food. And I realize how important it is to go after what I want in live, and to enjoy life. Want something new, different, vibrant??? Wake up and DO IT NOW! And you might even see me out there doing the same. 😃

The hawaiian fire dance. the hawaiians are very spiritual people and they share their spirituality through dance. the dances have a story. and it is shared as a tradition passed down through the generations. pele the goddess of the Volcano.
Spews forth the fire from within the Earth, and new Earth is created as the molten lava flows down.
To the water creating new land.

Two years ago, I woke up before my dad. I came out of my room. to get some water from the kitchen, and I glanced up. And that's when I saw it. I grabbed my phone and ran outside and turned on my phone and waited for it to boot up, so I could take a picture of the glorious sunrise. The natural beauty all around us and just amazes me. And when we open our eyes, it's right there in front of us... the truth is, there's beauty inside of you. And if you haven't noticed it recently... turn within and give yourself a chance to connect and allow the beauty to flow out of you. You are beautiful!!!

When I am up early, and I see a bunch of color, streaming into my living room, and I look out and see this... my feet start moving really fast as I grab my camera and start snapping photos before the lights changes as the sun is rising... Happy day!

Tap into the beauty within you... For years, I advocated meditation and didn't make it a priority in my own life. Today, I meditate twice a day. What's the difference? I finally prioritized myself. I always ask clients/friends, "Are you worth 5 minutes a day?" And often, I'm told, "well, when you say it like that! Of course." I am worth 5 minutes a day, and so are you. It makes a BIG difference in life/living/moment to moment. As you STILL your mind, then you are more open to the truth/light/Spirit within you. Make yourself a priority in your own life, and it will pay you dividends if you MEDITATE. I am a happier, grounded, open, available person because of it. Blessings and meditate!

It's easy to get caught up in the trauma and drama and Chaos all around us. The body is not designed to live in that type of environment. It's easy to take on everything outside of us. And this is a reminder that if you take it on it's your opportunity to Let It Go. What you pick up you can put down. Let go of the stress. Let go of the anxiety. Let go of the fear. Let go of the chaos. Recenter yourself inside your core. We are Divine beings. Reignite the fire within you the balance within you the peace within you. Whether you meditate or use a different form of relaxation the point is to use it. Free Yourself and return yourself to Harmony. We all deserve that!
