More nighttime light pollution-> More Alzheimer’s disease

Circadian Rhythm Research Laboratory at Rush University, Chicago published this in Frontiers of Neuroscience.
Artificial nighttime outdoor light is strongly associated with increased risk of Alzheimer’s disease. This was true for people younger and older than 65. And yes, the difference was significant. This was more prevalent in people who have APOE4 genotype. 13% of the population have this genotype by the way. One caveat here is that the study relied on satellite images and not indoor lights.
