The second inner core foundation we must focus on is- Emotional regulation.
Emotional regulation isn't about being calm all the time.
It's about creating a conscious pause between what happens.... and how we respond to the event.
Emotional regulation is about choosing that pause instead of reacting.
The practise of not allowing our emotions to choose for us.
Remember
Reacting is automatic.
Responding is a skill.
We need to bridge this gap between reacting and responding, and this is the actual strength of building our emotional regulation.
