Day 4 Highlights – IDF Congress 2025

A heartfelt glimpse into Day 4 of the IDF Congress 2025, held from April 7th to 10th in vibrant Bangkok. This day wasn’t just about learning—it was about becoming. A milestone in my personal and professional journey as a diabetes counselor.

It was the final day of the conference, and destiny had something beautiful in store. I had the honor of meeting one of the most inspiring legends in diabetes care—Dr. V. Mohan, the Chairman of Dr. Mohan’s Diabetes Specialities Centre (an IDF Centre of Excellence) and the Madras Diabetes Research Foundation (an ICMR Centre for Advanced Research on Diabetes). His presence reaffirmed my passion for this field and left me deeply inspired.

Another proud moment—I presented my poster on Diabetic Neuropathy and Foot Management in Diabetes. The insights I gained and shared during this presentation were incredibly enriching. It wasn’t just about showcasing knowledge—it was about embracing the responsibility of care.

And then, a surreal experience—my interview featured on China Media as a Young Leader in the Diabetes Federation. From being a simple girl with dreams to a woman confidently sharing her voice on an international platform—it felt like the universe was whispering back, “I heard you.”

Forever grateful to every person, every moment, and every challenge that brought me here. Thank you for being part of my journey.

On April 13, 2025, history was made as 5,000 participants united to create the Largest Human Formation spelling out
“Abu Dhabi – Safest City in the World”, in celebration of the city’s recognition as the world’s safest for the 9th consecutive year!

This iconic event, officially recognized by Einstein World Records, was held under the powerful theme: “Year of Community”. It was a proud moment beautifully brought to life by the Pudhumai Thamizhachi Women’s Team, under the leadership of KR Group of Companies, UAE and Adeeb Group of Companies, UAE, in close coordination with the Abu Dhabi Police.

First and foremost, heartfelt credit goes to the Abu Dhabi Police and the Abu Dhabi Community Police, whose unwavering support and dedication turned this visionary celebration into a historic reality.
