Smaily Diets To healthier eating with Leila Smaily! Leila Smaily BSc., RD, MA, is a registered dietitian based in Dubai with a rich background in nutrition and dietetics.

Leila holds a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics as well as a Master’s Degree in Nutrition and Food Sciences which she acquired in Detroit, Michigan. She is an active member of Dietitians of Canada, College of Dietitians of Ontario and is presently Canada’s Representative for the American Overseas Dietetic Association (2004-present). Leila has extensive experience in both Community and Clinical Nutrition. Prior to starting her own practice, she was the Coordinator of Nutrition Services for Integrated Circle of Care in London, Ontario where she created and delivered multiple nutrition programs as well as nutrition consultations helping people eat and cook healthier. Following which, she practiced as a Clinical Dietitian at the OBagi MediSpa in Dubai Mall. She has also enjoyed working with Primacy Dietitians and Superstores in Canada where she participated in recipe developments, menu planning, cooking classes, products tastings and reviews, label creations and more. Leila has had few articles in New You and has had multiple TV appearances on local channels such as CNBC and Sharjah TV. Leila also had few recipes chosen and published in the Dietitians of Canada Cook Book, COOK!
