The United States launched the first humanitarian shipment to Cuba to support families recovering from Hurricane Melissa, working with the Catholic Church and trusted partners to ensure assistance reaches the Cuban people directly and with dignity. Our teams supported the operational backbone of this effort, from sourcing and packing to coordination and compliance, so critical supplies move efficiently and without disruption.

This work reflects what responsible humanitarian logistics looks like when urgency meets accountability, with every organization focused on delivering real support to communities under strain. We remain committed to standing with partners who prioritize access, transparency, and respect for those receiving aid, and to doing the work required to move help where it is needed most.

Ecolog International is pleased to announce the appointment of Charlotte Gabbar as Vice President, Business Development – Healthcare Solutions.

In this role, Charlotte will lead the growth of Ecolog’s Healthcare Solutions business, focusing on strengthening partnerships, advancing strategic initiatives, and supporting the delivery of integrated services in complex operating environments.

Charlotte brings over 20 years of experience in global commercial strategy, client leadership, and product management across the healthcare and professional services sectors. She has a proven record of shaping growth strategies, leading cross-functional teams, and driving business transformation in complex, multinational environments.

She joins Ecolog from International SOS, where she most recently served as General Manager, Product and Solutions – Global, leading global product strategy, driving digital enhancements, and improving commercial governance and efficiency across multiple regions.

Last month, our VP of Global Business Development, Humanitarian, Christelle Delenclos, was featured in the Humanitarian Logistics Association’s Logistics Response Digest (Issue 3), with an article titled "How logistics became the world’s most powerful form of diplomacy".

The edition explores how localization, preparedness, and innovation are shaping humanitarian logistics across Africa, highlighting progress driven by local actors, national systems, and regional partners.
