SV Group was founded in the United Arab Emirates in 2005. The founders understood there was a fast-growing pet population and identified a niche for top quality pet food, accessories and other related products in the region. Since its inception, the SV Group has become one of the region’s leading wholesalers distributing more than 9,000 premium products across the Middle East with offices and warehouse facilities in UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
Our expertise lies in pet nutrition and animal health. With a full time, in-house scientific team conducting regular seminars and training sessions, each Middle Eastern office can answer any technical questions raised by pet shops or clinics.
With 70,000 sq ft of warehousing at our headquarters in Dubai and strong logistics, customers are assured of a service level over 95%. Our multi-cultural teams made up of passionate and dedicated individuals from 16 different nationalities speak 12 different languages are the backbone of our company and key to its success.
We pride ourselves on delivering excellent products with exceptional customer service to the veterinary clinics and pet retailers of the region. Wholesale is our core business which makes the business model unique in the Gulf countries.
OUR FACILITIES
From humble beginnings, the company now boasts 70,000 sq ft of warehouse facilities, with additional cold storage. These facilities have the capacity to hold around 7,000 pallets and are effectively managed and monitored by a new Warehouse Management System. Environmentally conscious, the warehouse spaces are fully lit with LEDs and plans are in process to install solar panels on all warehousing by 2021.
OUR CUSTOMERS
We have a broad customer base which includes pet-shops, veterinary clinics, kennels and boarding centers, garden centers, breeders, zoos and private wildlife collections. In addition to these, we also service government institutions such as police force and army. Our client list also extends to royal palaces and public aquariums which take the number of accounts upwards to 300.
These accounts are spread throughout the Gulf Region in the UAE, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. There is also a dedicated delivery fleet within the UAE which distributes to other countries through carefully selected transport companies.
ANIMAL CARE SPECIALISTS
As a company we pride ourselves on being animal care specialists. We are always seeking out new brands and products from across the globe to add to our portfolio, that will best benefit the pets of the region. Animal’s needs are always our priority. With two veterinary doctors heading the scientific department, providing expert product support and advice to our customers. We invest heavily in continued professional development for both of our staff and of our customers; conducting training seminars and events for veterinary professionals and support staff with top international speakers.
We also have both sales and marketing teams, providing customer support in store. As a company we are digitally mature – with a strong online presence and tools to serve our clients, including a high functioning online ordering facility and loyalty programs.
