Your liver works quietly in the background and it is one of the most important repair organs in the body.

It filters toxins, regulates metabolism, supports antioxidant production, and helps manage inflammation. When liver function is compromised, energy, recovery, and overall resilience can decline.

Supporting your liver is foundational. Whole foods, balanced nutrition, reduced toxic load, and targeted support can make a measurable difference over time.

shared some helpful tips on getting ontop of her stress when it catches up to her.

1. Pilates - Pilates is highly calming and acts as a
“meditation in motion” by combining deep, controlled breathing with precise, intentional movements. It reduces stress by activating the parasympathetic nervous system, lowering cortisol levels, and releasing physical tension, which can significantly improve anxiety and mood.

2. Vagus Nerve Exercises - vagus nerve exercises are designed to induce a state of calm by activating the parasympathetic nervous system, which promotes “rest and digest” over “fight or flight”. These techniques help reduce anxiety, lower heart rates, and release physical tension.

3. Grounding - this refers to techniques that connect the body to the earth’s natural surface charge (walking barefoot) or psychological methods to anchor oneself in the present moment. These practices aim to reduce stress, anxiety, and pain, as well as provide a calming, centering effect.

4. Deep breathing - Deep breathing involves breathing in slowly through the nose and then out through the mouth using the diaphragm (the thin muscle that separates the chest from the abdomen) and abdominal muscles. This helps boost the amount of oxygen in the blood, lowers blood pressure and heart rate, and reduces muscle tension.

Not all magnesium is the same and neither is it when you take it. Take Note:

Magnesium Triple Blend Complex - best taken in the afternoon or evening with food to support energy, digestion and help muscle function and recovery.

Magnesium Glycinate - best taken in the evening, with or without food, to help calm the nervous system and reduce muscle tension before sleep.

Two forms. Two jobs. One mineral most people aren't getting enough of.

Everyone talks about stress. Fewer people talk about what actually helps.

We reached out to our global community and asked them one question: What do you actually do to de-stress?

Loné Strauss from South Africa shared honestly that ‘you can’t outwork a dysregulated body’, and we couldn’t agree more.

This is the first in our series this month. More coming. If you’d like to share your de-stress non-negotiables, send us a DM, we’d love to hear and share it!

Everyone blames cortisol. But it's not the problem, a cortisol spike is normal. It's when it doesn't come back down that things get difficult.

Here's what's actually happening in your body and what supports your system.

Your nervous system can’t stay in “go” mode indefinitely. Choosing rest isn’t laziness, it’s when your body actually does the work of recovering: lowering cortisol, repairing tissue, resetting your stress response.

Most people treat rest as something they’ll get to when everything else is done. It doesn’t really work that way.
Building in genuine downtime is part of how you stay functional, not something you earn after the fact.
Worth remembering next time you feel guilty for slowing down.

Rest if part of regulation.

It’s not always poor sleep. Sometimes it’s doom scrolling, or becoming infuriated in traffic. These small moments on repeat can add up to a higher stress level than what one would anticipate, given their stressors aren’t obvious.

Awareness of these small moments of stressors is the first step in becoming in tune with your body’s reaction to stress and how you can regulate it.

Stress regulation is different for everyone.

Stay tuned this month for tips on stress regulation.
