• Medical degree (MD) with Master’s degree or postgraduate diploma required for Cardiology and Neurology roles
• Demonstrated interest in Artificial Intelligence, Digital Health, or Medical Imaging
• Understanding of clinical workflows (PACS/RIS experience is a plus)
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Language: Fluent medical and technical English

Meridian Healthcare MEA in collaboration with MILLENSYS, successfully hosted an impactful workshop on the 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐑𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 during the Annual Congress of the National Cancer Institute, organised by Cairo University, on 7 November 2025.

The workshop highlighted how AI empowers radiologists by enhancing diagnostic accuracy, accelerating workflow efficiency, and improving cancer screening and reporting outcomes. Participants engaged in interactive, hands-on sessions using PACS workstations loaded with real clinical cases, guided by expert application specialists who demonstrated the real-world value of AI in daily radiology practice.

بالتعاون مع 𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒𝐘𝐒، نظّمت 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐌𝐄𝐀 ورشة عمل مميزة حول الدور التحوّلي للذكاء الاصطناعي في مجال الأشعة، وذلك خلال المؤتمر السنوي للمعهد القومي للأورام الذي تقيمه جامعة القاهرة بتاريخ 𝟕 نوفمبر 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓.

سلّطت الورشة الضوء على كيفية تمكين الذكاء الاصطناعي لأخصائيي الأشعة عبر تعزيز دقة التشخيص، تسريع سير العمل، وتحسين نتائج فحوصات السرطان. وشهدت الجلسة تطبيقات عملية تفاعلية باستخدام أجهزة 𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐒 المزوّدة بحالات سريرية حقيقية، تحت إشراف مختصين في التطبيقات عرضوا القيمة العملية للحلول الذكية في بيئة العمل اليومية.

عميد كلية طب قناة السويس يناقش مشروع تطوير النادي الاجتماعي ويوجه بسرعة إنشاء وحدة الذكاء الاصطناعي الطبي بالتعاون مع "ميريديان هيلث كير"

في إطار خطة كلية الطب بجامعة قناة السويس – إحدى الجامعات الحكومية الرائدة في مصر – لتطوير البنية التحتية وتحديث الوحدات ذات الطابع الخاص، عقد الأستاذ الدكتور أحمد أنور عبدالغني، عميد كلية الطب، اجتماعًا موسعًا بمقر الكلية بمدينة الإسماعيلية لمناقشة مشروع تطوير النادي الاجتماعي لأعضاء هيئة التدريس، وذلك بحضور الأستاذة الدكتورة عبير هجرس وكيل الكلية لشئون تنمية المجتمع وخدمة البيئة، والأستاذة الدكتورة عزة عبدالحميد رئيس قسم الأشعة التداخلية، والبروفيسور أحمد الصيرفي أستاذ الأشعة بكلية الطب جامعة قناة السويس بالإسماعيلية – مصر، والرئيس التنفيذي لكل من شركة ميريديان هيلث كير والمركز الدولي للأشعة بالإمارات العربية المتحدة.

وخلال الاجتماع، وجّه عميد الكلية بسرعة بدء عملية إخلاء مقر النادي الاجتماعي وفقًا للأسس والإجراءات القانونية والإدارية المتبعة، تمهيدًا لتنفيذ خطة التطوير وفقًا لأعلى معايير الجودة العالمية.

كما أعلن سيادته عن بدء خطوات جادة نحو إنشاء وحدة الذكاء الاصطناعي الطبي بالتعاون مع شركة "ميريديان هيلث كير"، لتكون الأولى من نوعها داخل جامعة قناة السويس، وتهدف إلى توظيف تطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي في مجالات التشخيص والعلاج والتعليم الطبي.

يأتي هذا ضمن خطة تطوير مركز الخدمات لأعضاء هيئة التدريس، الذي أُنشئ بعد موافقة مجلس الجامعة بتاريخ 18 مارس 1999م، وموافقة المجلس الأعلى للجامعات على الإنشاء بتاريخ 20 يوليو 2014م، وتم اعتماد لائحته المالية والإدارية من وزارة المالية في 13 نوفمبر 2023.

ويهدف المشروع إلى رفع كفاءة الخدمات المقدمة لأعضاء هيئة التدريس، وخصوصًا الأطباء المتقاعدين، من خلال تهيئة بيئة تعليمية وعملية مواكبة للتحولات الرقمية المتسارعة في القطاع الطبي. كما يسعى إلى تنظيم ورش عمل وتدريبات متقدمة على تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي في المجال الصحي، بالإضافة إلى إنشاء حديقة داخل النادي توفر أجواء ربيعية داعمة للصحة النفسية والمجتمعية لأعضاء هيئة التدريس.

وأكد الأستاذ الدكتور أحمد أنور عبدالغني أن هذا المشروع يعكس رؤية جامعة قناة السويس نحو دمج التكنولوجيا الحديثة في تطوير الخدمات الأكاديمية والطبية والمجتمعية، بما يسهم في الارتقاء بمستوى الأداء الجامعي وتحقيق التكامل بين التعليم وخدمة المجتمع.

Dean of Suez Canal University Faculty of Medicine Discusses Social Club Development Project and Calls for Rapid Establishment of Medical AI Unit in Collaboration with Meridian Healthcare
As part of the Faculty of Medicine’s plan at Suez Canal University — one of the leading public universities in Egypt — to develop infrastructure and modernise specialised units, Professor Dr Ahmed Anwar Abdelghani, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, held an extensive meeting at the college headquarters in Ismailia to discuss the social club development project for faculty members. The meeting was attended by Professor Dr Abeer Hegress, Vice Dean for Community Development and Environmental Service, Professor Dr Azza Abdelhamid, Head of the Interventional Radiology Department, and Professor Ahmed ElSerafi, Professor of Radiology at Suez Canal University, and CEO of both Meridian Healthcare and the International Radiology Centre in the UAE.

During the meeting, the Dean directed the prompt initiation of the evacuation process of the social club premises according to the applicable legal and administrative frameworks, in preparation for implementing the development plan according to the highest international quality standards.

He also announced serious steps towards the establishment of a Medical Artificial Intelligence Unit in collaboration with Meridian Healthcare, to be the first of its kind at Suez Canal University. This unit will focus on applying artificial intelligence technologies in diagnostics, treatment, and medical education.

This comes within the framework of developing the Faculty Members’ Services Centre, which was established after the university council’s approval on 18 March 1999, the Supreme Council of Universities’ approval on 20 July 2014, and the Ministry of Finance’s ratification of its financial and administrative regulations on 13 November 2023.

The project aims to enhance the quality of services provided to faculty members, especially retired physicians, by creating an educational and practical environment that keeps pace with the rapid digital transformations in the medical sector. It also seeks to organise workshops and advanced training on artificial intelligence technologies in healthcare, in addition to establishing a garden within the club to provide a natural environment that supports the psychological and social wellbeing of faculty members.

Professor Dr Ahmed Anwar Abdelghani emphasised that this project reflects Suez Canal University’s vision of integrating modern technology into the development of academic, medical, and community services, contributing to elevating the university’s performance level and achieving integration between education and public service.
