If you’re like me, a protein bar will only fill you up for about 12.5 minutes. I love protein, but the ultimate hunger bashing combo is PROTEIN + FIBER + FATS. By adding the banana (fiber) and yoghurt (fat) to the protein bar when you’re a bit hungrier, you can make a snack that will definitely keep you fuller for longer 💕

You’ll always find a Tupperware full of cooked chicken in my fridge 🐔 Either air fried or boiled in some chicken stock, it’s such an easy way to add some protein into your meals. You can use it to add into:
🍲 Soups ⬆️
🍚 Risotto
🍝 Pasta
🥪 Chicken mayo sandwiches and wraps
🥗 Salads
Obvs if you are vegan, replace said chicken with something like tofu, tempeh or seitan 💕

The feeling of being ‘motivated’ and ‘inspired’ is so fickle, so first take the action of slowly layering up some good habits based on whatever your goals are. That will keep you going even when you’re not particularly motivated. And the days that you are.. Well that’s just a lovely bonus 💕

While a very merry time for many, this season is a tricky one to navigate for people who have a complicated relationship with food or are/have suffered from an eating disorder.
Remember that food is fuel. And a handful of indulgent days in the year will not affect your progress, whatever your goals may be. It’s when we say ‘f*%k it’, and extend those days to weeks and months when we start moving away from those goals.
So please, have the best time, enjoy the yummy food and enjoy the company if you are lucky enough to be spending Christmas with loved ones ❤️

The person who’s body you admire so much is likely multiple years into their journey. That doesn’t mean you’re ‘too late’ though. They also started at the beginning and it is literally never too late! Just don’t compare your chapter 1 to someone else’s chapter 10 💕

If your coach does not ask you about your preferences regarding food choices, meal timings, lifestyle & environment, chances are they are giving you the same nutrition programme as all their other clients. But what works for one person and gets them a ‘ transformation’ might not work for you. And that’s not your fault. Just like our personalities, our eating habits and preferences are unique, and a good programme should account for your individuality and most importantly make it sustainable for you 💕

I do not believe resistance bands and weights are created equal, as bands just do not give the same stimulus for muscle growth as weights do (even if they make your muscles ‘burn’ 🔥
HOWEVER, if you are a complete newbie, or just want to maintain muscle and don’t have access to weights then bands can definitely have their place. As always, any type of movement is better than sitting on the sofa 🤷🏼‍♀️
