108 Sun Salutations are both a physical challenge and a profound spiritual practice that builds mental resilience and a sense of awareness, renewal and connection:
🔆 It aligns the body, mind, and soul with universal forces, often practiced during seasonal changes (solstice) or personal milestones for renewal and transformation.
🔆 It offers an opportunity for reflection, gratitude, and setting intentions, deepening spiritual awareness and awakening.
🔆 It acts as a moving meditation by cultivating mental clarity and focus, anchoring the mind in the present moment; it reduces anxiety and helps release emotional blockages and fosters emotional balance.

How can you fast creatively for better self and world?
This year christians and muslims of all faith fast at the same time! Today on March 5, Ash Wednesday, christians start their 40 days fast leading to Easter Sunday on April 20th. Muslims started their fast on March 1st leading up to Eid.
This is a divine invitation to unify our prayers for a kinder Earth currently filled with wars, hatred, genocide , pollution , Ego and greed for money and power ; all that are suffocating humanity .
Traditionally fasting is around cutting food to build resilience and cut out cravings and addictions.
However food is not the only way to fast.
Here are some other ways to fast if you have health issues and cutting out food is difficult:
1. Digital Fast: cutting out social media over use or addiction to using phone apps.
2. Lifestyle: cut or control binging on tv shows and spend more time reading or engaging in other hobbies
3. Emotional: cut out gossip or negative talk like criticism or complaints and rather favoring practice of gratitude and positivity.
All religions observe periods of fasting and reflection: Judaism during Yom Kippur , a day of fasting repentance and forgiveness; Hinduism during festivals as a form of devotion and and self-control; Buddhism use fast as a form of meditative practice to detach from attachement and lead to enlightenment.
These shared practices highlight universal values like humility, self-discipline, and the pursuit of spiritual connection across all faiths.
