Starting October 7, they'll be upping their weekly service to four times a week. Good day all,
Pacata Developments Ltd, are excited to introduce “The Village at Shoal Bay”, the first Active Lifestyle development in Anguilla and the North Eastern Caribbean.
The last two years have been particularly challenging, but with the pandemic situation largely behind us, we are now determined to proceed with the project.
We are currently finalizing our finance arrangements and will make a formal announcement as soon as possible.
Our revised schedule means that construction commencement is slated for the second half of 2023, with the first completions by mid 2024.

The Village at Shoal Bay represents the first fully planned adult community being developed in the Caribbean region, on the beautiful island of Anguilla, BWI. Designed specifically for the 55+ age group and the young at heart who are looking for that special place in paradise they’ve always dreamed of. Our community will provide both couples and singles the unique opportunity to meet like minded people from around the world who have a passion for Caribbean living. The Village will offer a range of ownership options from one bedroom condominiums to 2-3 bedroom private villas, all set in a tropically landscaped ‘oasis’ and designed with that true Caribbean character.
On-site amenities include a member clubhouse with yoga studio, fitness center, day spa, and events lounge. An outdoor pool and deck area, and a professional tennis court is available to residents and guests, as well as a dedicated Village Beach Club only a few minutes away on Shoal Bay East Beach. A 24 hour medical suite will be located on site, staffed by dedicated professionals, with specialists on call in case of emergency. Our commercial area includes a convenient market style restaurant, and several professional services. Our public ‘hub’ or gathering place will host local musicians and other activities on a regular basis.
We’re planning a complete ‘edible landscaping’ concept that will include a variety of tropical fruit trees and various local herbs that can be used in cooking, natural remedies, or your favourite tropical drinks. Local chefs and mixologists will offer classes in the clubhouse to share their Caribbean recipes to spice up your menu. Dedicated gardening plots will also be made available to residents of The Village, or you can just relax in the shade on our Village Green and catch up on a new book.
Anguilla is a special island that offers a tremendous amount of activities throughout the year. The Village has teamed up with CuisinArt Resort Golf and Spa to offer special rates and dedicated golf events to our residents. Feel like getting on the water? Why not try sport fishing, sailing, kayaking to your private beach, or simply exploring the many world class beaches around the island. Thought of donating your time and expertise? There are many worthwhile opportunities to become a volunteer in Anguilla. Explore the region! Why not hop on a short flight and spend the weekend exploring the nearby islands of St. Barth’s, Saba, or the BVIs? And its only a 20 minute ferry ride to Sint Maarten if you’re in that shopping mood.
The Village at Shoal Bay is being developed by Pacata Developments Ltd., a company backed by over 30 years experience in residential community development in the UK, and supported by a project ex*****on team that has successfully delivered hundreds of resort and villa developments throughout the Caribbean region. All construction will be based on CAT5 hurricane building code standards, and will incorporate renewable energy and water conservation systems.
