I recently had the incredible opportunity to participate in a masterclass called "Tubelss Uniportal VATS" at the world's leading Thoracic Scientific Center in Guangzhou. I want to express my gratitude to Dr. Alan Sihoe and Prof. 李树本 Shuben Li for extending their invitation to me. The experience was nothing short of extraordinary!
Throughout the masterclass, we had a packed agenda that included hands-on animal experiments and the chance to observe and take part in human surgeries using the most advanced techniques implemented by the scientific center. One of the standout technologies we encountered was the , an exceptional single-port surgical robot that offers maneuverability for complex procedures with reduced effort.
Special thanks go to the Director of the National Center of Respiratory Medicine, Prof. Jianxing He, and 李树本 Shuben Li, for being exceptional hosts, along with world-renowned field expert Dr. Diego Gonzalez Rivas. Personally, getting to know their technology without glasses and innovative lung reconstruction software, which resembled a hologram, was a remarkable experience.
I want to express my gratitude to the entire center, the organizers, and all the participants for providing this incredible opportunity.
