𝗪𝗘𝗚𝗢 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗤

The redesigned facade of this office building in New York makes a strong architectural statement: the previously monotonous ribbon window facade has been replaced with vibrant öko skin slats in various shades of grey. Glassfibre reinforced concrete elements give the exterior a clear, contemporary aesthetic. Wooden-look louvres complete the design while providing both sun protection and privacy.

𝗪𝗘𝗚𝗢 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗤

Originally built in the 1960s, the office building underwent a complete transformation – architecturally, technically and functionally. The restructured volume is defined by staggered cantilevers and pronounced horizontal lines.

Öko skin slats made of glassfibre reinforced concrete in varying shades of grey emphasise the building’s linear geometry and enhance the sculptural quality of the facade. Combined with a pared-down material palette, the result is a modern and restrained architectural statement.

𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁. 𝗦𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗽𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹. 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰.

Wind, rain and harsh weather – the new PREVIER in Hamburg’s HafenCity stands strong against the elements with a striking glassfibre reinforced concrete facade. Tailor-made 3D formparts, including vertical double-U fins and horizontal parapet profiles, give the building depth and structure.

💡 Combined with large flat panels, the result is a monolithic facade that unites architectural precision with technical performance.

🎨 Six warm, finely graduated shades of red reference Hamburg’s Hanseatic brick heritage while adding a contemporary accent to the urban landscape.

📍𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲, 𝗟𝘂𝘅𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗴

The “UM Bock” school has been renovated and expanded – with a facade that truly stands out: Warm tones like terracotta, coralline, oxide red and burgundy blend seamlessly into the surroundings. The red shades of the facade echo the distinctive red soil of the Minett region, creating a strong, contextual link to the local landscape.

At the facade of our production hall, offcuts become a design element. Using data analysis and generative design techniques, the design process is reversed, and leftover materials are transformed into a new, mosaic-like outer shell.
