𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁. 𝗦𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗽𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹. 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰.

Wind, rain and harsh weather – the new PREVIER in Hamburg’s HafenCity stands strong against the elements with a striking glassfibre reinforced concrete facade. Tailor-made 3D formparts, including vertical double-U fins and horizontal parapet profiles, give the building depth and structure.

💡 Combined with large flat panels, the result is a monolithic facade that unites architectural precision with technical performance.

🎨 Six warm, finely graduated shades of red reference Hamburg’s Hanseatic brick heritage while adding a contemporary accent to the urban landscape.

The “UM Bock” school has been renovated and expanded – with a facade that truly stands out: Warm tones like terracotta, coralline, oxide red and burgundy blend seamlessly into the surroundings. The red shades of the facade echo the distinctive red soil of the Minett region, creating a strong, contextual link to the local landscape.

The facade of Eataly is more than just a shell – it's a statement. Designed by Gensler, the exterior features concrete skin panels in warm terracotta, blending tradition with modern craftsmanship. For the renovation of the historic facade of what was once Berlin’s tallest office tower, 3,500 formparts made of glassfibre reinforced concrete by Rieder were installed. These durable elements extend the building’s lifecycle while seamlessly blending heritage preservation with modern aesthetics.

By retaining the existing structure, grey energy was conserved, resources were preserved, and no additional land was sealed. This created a sophisticated synthesis between heritage preservation and contemporary architecture. With their longevity, low maintenance, and design flexibility, formparts offer a sustainable solution for complex facade geometries.

Mark your calendars! 🗓️✨ From 13 to 15 March 2025, the TURN ON architecture festival will once again take place at the ORF RadioKulturhaus in Vienna – now in its 23rd edition. Under the overarching theme “The Opportunity in Crisis”, the festival will explore current challenges and opportunities in architecture.

Through engaging lectures, architects will join forces with industry and business partners to discuss these pressing topics. We are particularly pleased that Gerald Kessler and Wolfgang Rieder will be present to share insights into the new production halls in Maishofen. We look forward to welcoming you – entry is free!
