The deepest experience of creation has always been feminine spirit, because it begins with the act of receiving. To create is to first listen, to hold something long before we can see it or shape it.
An idea. A life. A possibility.
There is a courage involved in carrying something fragile through uncertainty, to bear its weight, through doubt and time.
Women have long known that kind of strength. They receive the world as it is, but they do not leave it unchanged. They carry what is difficult, nurture what is possible, and in time return to the world, something new.
Creation, in that sense, is not loud.
It is resilient.
And often, it is borne quietly in the hands of women.
