During the coming weeks, TAAL Assistive Technology will publish a series of posts on the subject
"Employment of people with special needs “
People with special needs and mental health challenges face significant barriers in entering and succeeding in the labor market. However, the good news is that employers increasingly recognize the unique value that employees with special needs bring to the workplace - innovation, creativity and a collaborative spirit that enriches the entire organization.
Our goal is to highlight the importance of expanding diversity and inclusivity at work.
In the upcoming posts we will spotlight processes that promote integration at work, present inspiring success stories, and offer tools and practical steps for employers who wish to create an inclusive and diverse work environment.
The series is part of the Next October אוקטובר הבא initiative which aims to commemorate the lives and work of victims through actions that continue their values and leave a mark of hope and change. We thereby dedicate the series to the memory of Dr. Hagit Rafali-Mishkin, who was brutally murdered on October 7, 2023.
The series is also in line with (National Disability Employment Awareness Month).
