Coming soon!

Turn Toward Triggers
A guided group experience for meeting your Self through moments of activation

There are moments when something in us reacts.

We shut down. Push away. Overthink. Try to get it right.
And afterwards, we’re left wondering what just happened.

I’ve come to see these moments differently.
Not as problems to fix, but as parts of us asking to be understood.

I’m offering a small group space where we can practise turning toward those moments, together.

I’ll guide a gentle, structured process where you connect with a recent activation, create some space from it, and begin to listen to what’s underneath.

You won’t be put on the spot.
You won’t be analysed.
You’ll be supported to explore your own inner experience, at your own pace.

Some people leave with clarity.
Some with a subtle shift.
Some with a different relationship to themselves.

All of that is welcome.

If you already notice your patterns, and you’re curious to understand them more deeply, you’re welcome here.

If this resonates, let me know. I'd love to have you there.

Lately I’ve been getting clearer about the heart of my work, and I want to share it with you.

I’m realising that listening is my forté. Not “active listening” as a technique, but the kind of listening that creates safety, understanding, and connection. The kind where we’re not fixing, advising, defending, or waiting for our turn to speak.

So much harm in relationships doesn’t come from bad intentions. It comes from anxiety, activation, and old coping strategies that get in the way of actually hearing each other.

I’m deeply interested in helping people develop the capacity to listen, to themselves, to each other, and in groups. Listening to what’s happening in the body. Listening underneath words to the feelings and needs being expressed. Listening in a way that helps people feel seen rather than managed or corrected.

The other side of this is learning how to express ourselves more clearly, especially around needs, requests, and boundaries. When expression is clearer, listening becomes easier. When listening is present, expression feels safer. They work together.

Over the coming months, I’ll be offering more spaces focused specifically on listening with empathy for connection, through workshops, listening circles, one-on-one support, and group work. This includes practices drawn from IFS parts work, nonviolent communication, authentic relating, and circle processes.

I care about this because listening is how people feel understood and accepted. It’s how relationships soften, repair, and deepen. And it’s a skill many of us were never really taught.

If this resonates, you’re welcome to follow along or reach out. I’m still shaping what this becomes, and I’m grateful to be doing it in conversation with others rather than in isolation.

This is the final subject of my Diploma of Counselling. Looks like I'm learning what I need the most. Being of service to other's in this way is extremely important to me as I live a purposeful life.

I’ve put together a one-page invitation that reflects the kind of work I’m offering right now — supporting people with clear, compassionate communication in their relationships.

If you or someone you know is feeling stuck, misunderstood, or wanting more ease in conversations, this might be helpful.

You’re very welcome to read, share, and pass it on to someone it might support.

I just watched a great video from The School of Life that talked about how child-like our parts can be and that can lead to an unwillingness to own the needs and desires that they have. Parts work supports the use of my conscious mind listening to and advocating for those parts even if a judgemental adult part of me thinks it's silly or childish.

Going cold on our partners is often a sign not that we have stopped caring, but that we are - somewhere deep down - furious or hurt. Enjoying our Youtube vi...

I just had the most wonderful experience with Liza Savchuk. We met at 5RHYTHMS and recognised each other from a time when she photographed a Human Forest event I attended. I asked her if she'd take some photos for me and the next Saturday we sat in my lounge room to drop in and attune. I proceeded to fret about what to wear and whether my hair was ok and Liza expertly guided and captured some amazing shots. I'm so grateful for her talent, generosity and calm creativity. Thank you, Liza!

If you’ve been holding it all together, here’s a place where you don’t have to. You can share as much or as little as you want, or simply listen. Either way, you belong.
