Do your horse a favour and learn how to achieve the best hooves possible at “THE HEALTHY HOOF” clinic, presented by Jenny Austin and Richard van Dijk.
Day One: Dive into essential theory and hands-on activities designed to help you create rock-crunching hooves. Topics include:
· Hoof anatomy and its role in supporting the horse
· Recognising healthy vs. unhealthy hooves
· Creating a sound barefoot horse
· Recognising, preventing, and treating laminitis and other pathologies
· Hoof trimming demonstration
· Hands-on activities with preserved hooves and bones
Day Two: Join us for an informative and practical Trimming Day. Bring your horse for assessment and trimming, and try your hand at trimming under close supervision (limit of 6 horses only). Or, watch and learn as other horses are trimmed.
Day Two also features a talk on training methods by Richard van Dijk, offering a sneak peek into his upcoming training clinic.
