Say hello to Dr. MJ, our incredible Australian-trained GP with over a decade of experience in General Practice and Paediatric Emergency Medicine! Freshly returned to South Australia after completing his Rural General Practice Fellowship in regional Victoria, Dr. MJ brings a wealth of knowledge and a genuine passion for Paediatric and Adolescent health.
Specialising in everything from Behavioural Paediatrics (think ADHD, ASD, and Neurodiversity) to Youth Mental Health, Dr. MJ is your go-to expert when it comes to helping young people thrive. He’s worked with the Royal Children’s Hospital Outreach Clinic, Bendigo Community Health Services, and even the Doctors in Secondary Schools Program with the University of Melbourne, making a positive impact on kids and families facing health challenges.

March is Endometriosis Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness about this condition that impacts 1 in 10 Australian women.

Endometriosis is a condition where tissue from the uterus grows in areas outside the uterus and causes bleeding in inappropriate areas during a woman’s menstrual cycle.

Symptoms can vary from mild through to severe and in rare instances can be life threatening. They may include pain in the pelvis or other bodily areas as well as infertility and complications from formation of scar tissue. There are a number of treatments available and, in most cases, symptoms can be controlled.

Speak to your GP if you experience:
-severe pain or problematic periods
-pain in other bodily areas during your periods
