Meet Victoria 👋🏻

Victoria is a young, energetic and bubbly support worker, who has almost worked for us for almost 2 years. She’s also studying her Bachelor of Speech Pathology, so brings a wealth of knowledge regarding communication to her role with us!

🙋🏼‍♀️ A few words from Victoria:

Working for CommuniCare has allowed me the greatest opportunity; to build so many great connections with not only the team at CommuniCare but with our clients, their families and those around them. Working for CommuniCare I have been able to learn so much and continue to learn more each day.

When I’m not working you’ll definitely catch me studying for my degree, reading, at gym or catching up with family.

🎁 🍩 Birthday at the Hub 🍩 🎁

Today is Caitlin’s birthday, and what better way to celebrate than a delivery of some of her favourite doughnuts! Caitlin is in charge of our payroll, so hopefully our staff are all thankful that she didn’t claim an annual leave day on payday! 😜

Jess and Elizabeth recently made the most of a beautiful sunny day by heading out to explore the local walking trails and nearby park ☀️🌳

The two soaked up the fresh air, stopped for a few selfies, and even took a moment to enjoy a good book outdoors!

Getting out and about is always a favourite for our clients - and support workers too. These moments in the community help build confidence, connection, and memories 🩷

We’ve seen some beautiful engagement from Leo recently — and it’s all thanks to one thing: family. While chatting about Mother’s Day, Leo gave his support workers lots of eye contact, cheeky giggles, and even some classic eyebrow raises — especially when we mentioned his nana! 🥰

The excitement didn’t stop there. When Leo heard he was going to visit his cousins for a birthday, he lit up with the biggest smile. Tara and Leo practised singing “Happy Birthday” together, and he couldn’t stop laughing every time she tried to sing along. Moments like these remind us how meaningful family connection can be 🩷
