Let's talk about macronutrients, or “macros” as you may have heard them referred to.

Macronutrients or “macros” get their name due to your body needing larger amounts of this particular compound to function properly.

All natural, non-man-made foods, such as vegetables, animal protein, seeds, nuts, fruits, and grains are made of varying percentages of these three macronutrients.

There are three types of macro - Carbs, Proteins and Fats. That’s all there is to it!
