Kinesiology and Mind Body Medicine offer a natural, holistic way to support the physical, emotional and energetic changes that can arise during perimenopause and menopause.

This approach combines the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine with insights from Western medicine knowledge to gently explore what your body is trying to tell us and where it most needs support.

In each session we clear stress and calm the nervous system, while drawing on the following tools to encourage hormonal and emotional balance:

💙 Acupressure points to support the smooth flow of Qi and blood, focusing on the Conception Vessel (Ren Mai) and the Kidney, Liver and Spleen meridians.
💙 Chakras, crystals and Bush Flower Essences to help you manage change, support emotions and feel good in your body.
💙 Use muscle tests and testing vials to identify imbalances or stress held in the body.

Reflective questions we may explore together:

When it comes to managing stress, we often hear phrases like ‘work-life balance’, but what does that actually mean?

Work-life balance is about creating a lifestyle where your professional responsibilities and personal needs are both supported. One can’t truly thrive without the other.

Here are a few ways to gently restore balance:

💙 Set clear boundaries around your work hours
💙 Limit access to work emails or calls outside of hours
💙 Take real breaks that give your nervous system time to reset
💙 Move your body to release tension and restore energy flow
💙 Spend time with friends outside of the workplace
💙 Make space for rest in your schedule - even short pauses matter

Balance looks different for everyone and there’s no perfect formula. But some level of balance is essential for your mental, emotional and physical well-being.

Ever wondered what actually happens in a Kinesiology session? Here’s a little insight into what to expect when we work together.

In our first session, we’ll begin by chatting about your physical health, emotional wellbeing and what you're hoping to gain from the process. It’s a chance for us to connect and set a framework to guide your healing journey.

At the start of each session, we’ll create a focus together - whether it’s a goal or a key issue you'd like to work on. This intention helps direct the energy flow and gives us clarity on what we’re aiming to shift or support.

No two sessions are the same, but they often include muscle testing, acupressure points, crystals, essences and meaningful discussion around what arises. The session usually finishes with time for you to relax while I hold specific acupressure points, often with a touch of Reiki or a guided visualisation to help you unwind and integrate the work. 💫

Many women believe they must simply endure the symptoms of perimenopause or menopause and that it’s just a rite of passage as a woman. And with the constant narrative that medication is the only option, it’s easy to feel like there’s no alternative.

While I’m certainly not against a medical approach, many symptoms can be eased naturally through supportive changes to lifestyle, nutrition and daily habits.

If you’re a woman over 40, chances are you’re juggling a lot. You're driving your kids everywhere, supporting aging parents, keeping your career on track, and somehow trying to maintain your relationships and keep everything running smoothly.

And then, right in the middle of it all, your hormones decide to throw in a few curve balls. Suddenly, your resilience feels paper-thin and the things you used to take in your stride now leave you feeling overwhelmed, teary or snappy. 😩

Stress doesn’t just make life feel harder; it can amplify perimenopausal symptoms. It’s like pouring fuel on the fire of already shifting hormones, making symptoms like sleep disturbances, hot flushes and fatigue worse. With your nervous system already stretched to its limit, mood swings and irritation can hit without warning.

Your system is working overtime trying to keep up with everything, and it’s exhausting.

Kinesiology helps to calm the stress response, support your nervous system and bring the body back into a more balanced, settled state so you’re not constantly running on empty.

Have you been quietly stalking my socials and enjoying the content, but still wondering if Kinesiology is really for you, or if I’m the right fit?

There are plenty of incredible Kinesiologists out there, so why choose me? 🤔

Well, for starters I’ve been doing this work for over three years and hold a Diploma in Kinesiology and Mind Body Medicine. I’m also registered with the Australian Kinesiology Association, which means I follow a professional code of ethics and require ongoing education.

Beyond the qualifications though, I get it. I know what it’s like to feel burnt out, anxious and disconnected. I’ve personally navigated chronic fatigue, workplace stress and that fun rollercoaster known as peri-menopause and menopause. So when I say ‘I understand’, it’s not just from a textbook, it’s lived experience.

As a Kinesiologist, I’ll hold space for you to share your deepest secrets, unload your worries and shed a few tears without judgement. I offer compassion and warmth, bring a positive, optimistic vibe, and work with empathy and honesty. I genuinely care about you and your well-being. 💫

These were the quiet lies I told myself on the road to burnout. 😔

It creeps in slowly. One moment you’re thriving on success and riding the momentum, the next you’re overwhelmed, disconnected and running on fumes. Your productivity declines, relationships become strained, and you barely recognise this exhausted, irritable version of yourself.

When you’re constantly living to please others - saying yes to everything, blurring your boundaries and always pushing, proving, perfecting, your health will pay the price.

If you’re like me and spend a lot of time around women over 40, you’ve probably noticed how the conversation has shifted from partying and nightclubs, to comparing notes on perimenopause and menopause.

What I’ve come to realise through these honest conversations is that no two experiences are the same, with each woman having her own unique mix of symptoms, differing in intensity and impact.

But what’s not talked about as much is the emotional weight this transition can carry.

The sudden anxiety that wasn’t there before. The overwhelm that creeps in for no clear reason. The moments of snapping at your loved ones, then wondering why. The tears, the irritation, the unfamiliar waves of sadness. 😔

It can feel lonely. Isolating. Like no one prepared you for this part.

But this doesn’t have to be your silent struggle, or your ‘rite of passage’ as a woman.

As a woman in my mid-fifties, I see firsthand how ageing is often met with discomfort where our bodies no longer do what they used to, our appearance shifts and menopause is seen as the ultimate enemy. This midlife transition can bring grief, confusion and a sense of loss as we let go of the lives we once knew. 😔

But what if instead of resisting this stage of life, we approached it with acceptance and embraced the beauty and wisdom that comes with age?

Often described as the 'afternoon of life' or our 'maga' years, this phase marks a powerful transition in which a woman steps into her fullest wisdom and power. It’s a time when our energy naturally turns inward and we explore a deeper understanding of ourselves. We begin to let go of striving, proving and prioritising others, and instead move toward self-connection, reflection and a more grounded sense of purpose.

Through Kinesiology, I support women to move beyond survival and navigate this transformative life stage with confidence and resilience. I help you feel more at ease with where you are now, while also alleviating the physical and emotional symptoms of perimenopause and menopause.
