Welch Ability Services are looking for support workers to join our small team to support a male client near Prospect, South Australia

The client requires workers with fluent English, preferably from English speaking background, Strong English language skills are the Key.

Roles include (not limited to): personal care, support to access the community, some meal preparation, cleaning/house work.

Must want to be a active worker that takes client into community every day.

Looking for staff for both cover shifts and regular shifts, shifts are over 7 days and two shifts covering 0900 to 2030

The Position is Casual, Paid at $43 per hour (plus night and weekend penalties) for the right workers with suitable experience and qualifications.

Looking for regular and fill in workers 9am-3:30pm and 3:30pm-8:30pm on multiple days, in Particular Thursday and Sunday (Please indicate what regular availability you have in application)

EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST POST

Welch Ability Services would appreciate your feedback on any number of clients with an interest in four-wheeling camping trips. Why use your NDIS funds to see the same four walls, when a million star views are available instead.

These experiences would be undertaken by experienced support workers with extensive experience in four-wheel driving and camping. The support workers are also members of 4x4 clubs.

Safety is paramount for the client. When travelling to a remote area, a satellite phone with a standard 04... number, will be available which enables free incoming calls for parents/caregivers checking in. Clients can sms to have a return call to share their experience 😀.

A remote area first aid kit is on-board and a remote area first aid course has been completed by the driver.

Clients won't need to spend money on camping gear as it is all provided by us.

Clients would not be thrown into the deep end. There will be come and try days at local locations like Adelaide Hill 4WD Park in St Ives, and single night trips to Eagle View 4WD.

Clients may like to only do short or single night trips and multiple area are available to go to.

For those that go well with a come and try session, and those who would like to experience longer and remote experiences, there are endless possibilities in South Australia and beyond.

Welch Ability Services would love to hear from clients, guardians, parents and caregivers who may be interested.

Welch Ability Services has taken multiple clients on similar trips already and we are looking to see if there are other clients interested in the same life enriching experiences.

We especially need a relief worker/s for 3 weeks at the end of this month.
