⏱ Actionable Exercise Protocols: practical, time-efficient methods tailored for demanding schedules.
Living with joint pain, stiffness, or swelling, especially if you also have psoriasis, might be more than just wear and tear. Psoriatic Arthritis is a chronic inflammatory condition that affects both small and large joints, commonly in the fingers, toes, spine, neck, or pelvis. While it often follows the onset of skin psoriasis, not everyone with psoriatic arthritis shows visible skin symptoms.
The condition can be unpredictable, flaring at times and easing off at others, and no two people experience it the same way. Symptoms vary widely in location, intensity, and progression. That’s why early diagnosis and individualised care are essential.
Although there’s no cure, effective treatment can reduce symptoms, manage flare-ups, and help prevent long-term joint damage. A gold-standard approach includes a combination of medication, education, exercise, sleep and lifestyle support, and this is where Allied Health professionals like Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists play a vital role.
At the core of our treatment is a personalised plan that helps improve movement, reduce discomfort, and support your overall wellbeing. With the right support team, living well with psoriatic arthritis is absolutely possible.
1 in 5 people will die early from cardiovascular disease (CVD) —
a leading cause of death, claiming more lives than cancer and chronic respiratory diseases combined.
But here’s the good news:
Up to 80% of heart disease and stroke cases are preventable.
And it starts with movement.
At Move for Better Health, we’re here to help you take control of your heart health — one step, one session, one heartbeat at a time. From clinical exercise physiology, iNform's CardioMotiv program, physio-led exercise classes, individual training to group classes — we offer a range of options to suit every body and every level of fitness. As we move into spring, many people are still dealing with the after-effects of winter — especially when it comes to foot health. If your toes were red, swollen, or intensely itchy during the colder months, you may have experienced chilblains — a common condition caused by cold, damp weather affecting circulation in the toes.
At AC Podiatry Adelaide, we regularly see chilblains during winter and help patients not only manage their symptoms but also understand how to prevent them in the future.
Chilblains typically occur when cold exposure is followed by sudden warming, which disrupts normal blood flow in the small vessels of the toes. Wet conditions and tight footwear can make symptoms worse, and without proper care, chilblains can become recurring or lead to further complications.
Even though the weather is warming up, now is a great time to check in on any lingering symptoms — or get advice on how to protect your feet next winter.
Our expert podiatrists are here to support you with professional chilblains treatment, recovery tips, and preventative care.

As September draws to a close, we’re celebrating the amazing people who make Move for Better Health such a supportive and welcoming place to work and receive care! This month, we marked a number of birthdays and work anniversaries within our wonderful team.
At the start of the month, Andrea Castello celebrated 18 years since founding AC Podiatry. Andrea works between our Malvern and Magill clinics, and his leadership, expertise, and dedication have been instrumental in shaping the AC Podiatry team into what it is today.
Patrick Carson, a valued member of NLC Psychology, celebrated 4 years working from our Malvern clinic. His compassionate approach has made a real difference to many clients.
We also celebrated birthdays across our team. Happy Birthday to Max Martin, Co-Director of iNform Health & Fitness Solutions, whose leadership and vision help drive our mission to support lifelong movement and wellbeing. Max works across our Malvern gym and Norwood iNform clinic. Our admin team had plenty to celebrate this month as well, with Georgie Harvey marking 2 years with us — her calm presence and attention to detail keep things running smoothly. Kate Wood had a double celebration this September — 5 years with us and her birthday! Thank you, Kate, for your warmth, professionalism, and ongoing support. Chloe Tziavrangos, another much-loved admin team member, also celebrated her birthday — her friendly face and positive energy brighten every clinic she works in.
And last but certainly not least, Elyse Sutcliffe, our General Manager, celebrated her birthday this month. Elyse keeps our clinics running smoothly, supporting both practitioners and clients with grace, skill, and endless energy.
We’re incredibly lucky to work with such a kind, capable, and dedicated team. Thank you all for the incredible work you do — and happy birthday and anniversary to everyone who celebrated this September! 💙

Did you know we run a dedicated Men’s Health Class every Saturday morning at our Malvern clinic? These small-group sessions are designed to support men in building strength, improving mobility, and staying active - not just for fitness, but for overall health, confidence, and connection.
Led by Senior Exercise Scientist Tim Pittorino, the class offers a welcoming and supportive environment where participants can challenge themselves, train safely, and work towards their individual goals as part of a like-minded group. Each session includes a well-rounded mix of strength, power, mobility, and balance training, tailored specifically for men’s health needs.
