Back pain from osteoarthritis? You're not alone… but there’s a joyful, healing way through it!

If you’ve been feeling stiff, sore, or like your spine’s lost its sparkle, you’re not imagining it—osteoarthritis of the back can feel like a heavy weight on your entire life. But what if I told you there’s a way to lighten the load, boost circulation, and even tap into your body’s natural healing magic?

Here’s the secret (and it’s way more fun than it sounds):

1. BOUNCING (Yes, like a big kid!)
Gentle bouncing on a mini trampoline or soft surface stimulates the lymphatic system, which is key to reducing inflammation and flushing out pain-causing toxins. It’s low impact, incredibly energising, and your joints will thank you for it.

2. YOGA (Slow flow = deep glow)
Yoga restores spinal mobility, lengthens tight muscles, and nourishes your nervous system. It creates space in the joints and invites calm where pain once lived. Special focus on breathwork and spinal twists can be game-changing.

3. PILATES (Core love)
Strengthening your core and deep stabilising muscles supports your spine like scaffolding. It brings back confidence in your movement, so you stop guarding and start flowing again.

4. TAPPING (for lymph & relief)
Think EFT meets lymphatic therapy. Gentle tapping along the body’s meridians—especially around the neck, underarms, chest, and groin—helps your lymph system move more freely. Less stagnation = less pain.

Pain might be your current chapter… but it’s not the end of your story.
With the right movement, breath, and a dash of playfulness, your body can become your greatest ally again.

Intrinsic Mind Holistic Health and Wellness Centre is a place for all to come.

We are the Hub of Adelaide providing Mental Health First Aid Training / Wellness course / Yoga and Pilates / 1:1 Yoga mentoring / Park Bootcamps / Thai Yoga Massage / Reiki and energy healing programs / Break through session with Time line Therapy / Hypnotherapy and NLP techniques / Corporate NLP Coaching / Corporate Wellness programs / Nutritional mentoring and programs / Hiring of the this amazing space for events and workshops.

I bet you are wondering why we chose the name intrinsic mind. The term ‘Intrinsic’ refers to the essential nature of a living thing. Humans have an innate desire to better themselves and that all individuals have the capacity to make their own free choices. However, sometimes we may deviate and become misdirected from our ambitions due to any number of mental, physical, or emotional setbacks. Distorted thought patterns, and poor habits are the main contributors that hinder progress towards growth and realizing your goals. ​ Intrinsic motivation arises from within; it involves engaging in a behaviour because it is personally rewarding. This is why we are here to be your personal coach and help you realise your goals by reawakening your innate, natural desires and helping you become even more intrinsically motivated to succeed in achieving your desired outcome. By observing the results of your own hard work, it motivates you even more to move closer to achieving that goal. We don’t do the work for you, you do that yourself, we just help to give you the skills, support and nudge needed for you to begin that journey. By coming to see us, it means that you are ready to change and that you have taken the first intrinsically motivated step towards success.
