Before falling pregnant there a many ways you can care for your body in preparation for the big changes ahead.

In addition to supporting our reproductive organs, it’s important to maintain a healthy flow of Qi throughout the body to enhance fertility and support conception.

Qi, is the vital energy that supports all physical and mental functions. It is what gives the body strength, warmth, and the ability to move and grow. When qi is strong and balanced, the body feels healthy and energized; when it’s weak or unbalanced, it can lead to fatigue, illness, or poor functioning.

In TCM, Kidney Qi plays a crucial role in conception and is seen as a foundation for overall health and vitality. Supporting Kidney health is therefore essential. Additionally, a well -balanced Liver system ensures the smooth flow of blood and Qi to the uterus. This, in turn, supports the Kidney and Spleen networks, creating a more favorable environment for pregnancy.

Another simple and effective way to support your body during this time is Lady’s Mantle Tea:

Regulates menstrual flow
Strengthen the uterus
Hormone balancer
Supports fertility
Anti-inflammatory

How to make it:

2 teaspoons in 2 cups of boiling water. Let it steep for 10 min. Enjoy up to 3 cups a day.

Soe offers abdominal massage and other treatments to support women throughout all stages of pregnancy. Link in bio or reach out to soe via dm or details in bio.

Herbal teas provide a myriad of uses and benefits and can be a warming way to gently nourish yourself during these winter months.

Elderberry tea has the physical benefits of boosting your immune system and reducing cold and flu symptoms. It also has spiritual benefits of worth, youthful vitality, and helps you to recuperate from all kind of setbacks. Winter is a time of inward energy and soaking in a bath of elderberry tea can assist in the clearing of negative energy and healing emotional wounds. In this way you create a nurturing space, a steady foundation ready to gently build up again. Allowing renewed energy to flow freely to the rest of your energy centres/chakras.

Both the tea and bath are simple ways to support your root chakra and reconnect with your senses. As you sip your tea or soak in the bath perhaps quietly say to yourself “I am safe, I am secure, I have everything I need in this moment” allowing your nervous system to rest and your sense of wellbeing to flourish.
