To achieve this activity, all you will need is:
✔️ Colourful pencils and/or textas
✔️ Large Ziplock bag
✔️ Black and white A4 paper
✔️ Scissors

Follow these easy steps:
✏️✂️ Using coloured pencils, have fun designing and creating your flashlight on white paper. Cut out and set aside.
👨🏼‍🎨 Have fun designing your Ziplock bag, tailoring it to your child’s personalised goals and needs. This resource can be adapted to target a range of speech, language, and literacy goals. So, whether that be a category naming task or writing out the /s/ clusters you’ve been practising… be as creative as you wish!
⚫️ Slip a black piece of paper into the Ziplock bag.

We would love you to meet and get to know Jess. ✨ Jess is one of our New Grad Speech Pathologists and she has been working at Liberty Allied Health since January. We love having Jess as part of our team. 🗣️

Go-to resource: Taco, Cat, Goat, Cheese, Pizza. 🌮🐱🐐🧀🍕 It’s a great game to play in between activities. It’s fast-paced, silly and gets everyone moving. Perfect for shaking out the wiggles, recharging the brain, and sharing a good laugh (the best type of therapy). 

When Jess has a day off, she enjoys going down by the beach. 🏖️ She also enjoys cooking (she says that she’s still yet to follow a real recipe) and spends quality time with her favourite people. 

Favourite snack:  Anything sweet (she can’t go a day without a sweet treat) 🍰🍪🧁

Go-to resource: Pop-the-Pig or Connect Four are great to always have on hand. 🔴🔵 They are super simple and everybody loves them!! They can both be used as games before a session to help ease into therapy or as motivators throughout activities.

When Deanna has a day off, she enjoys going out for brunch or dinner with loved ones or having a self-care day with lots of comfort food, movies, or a good book to get lost in. 🍳🥞

Favourite savoury snack: Flaming Hot Cheetos (an American snack her mum loved when she lived there) 🔥

Favourite sweet snack: Everything! A direct quote from Deanna, “I cannot handle myself around cake!” 🍰
