In fact it’s more important than ever.

With so much going on in the world right now it can feel almost uncomfortable to celebrate.

As if joy needs to be justified.

As if laughter, connection and making memories somehow ignores the pain others are experiencing.

But celebrating doesn’t mean we’re unaware.

It doesn’t mean we’re dismissing the horror, grief and pain that exists beyond our own lives.

It means we’re choosing to stay human and not let evil win.

Joy nourishes our nervous system.

Connection reminds us what we’re protecting.

So if you find moments of light right now
take them, share them and don’t feel guilty.

Joy isn’t indulgent, it’s essential ♥️💚

A good reminder!

Women often tend to take on the lions share of the Christmas preparations and as much as we may love this time of the year it can also be exhausting.

Juggling never ending lists, buying the presents, planning the perfect lunch and creating the magic all while working can take its toll.

Nobody needs the “perfect “ Christmas, our family and friends just want the version of us that hasn’t run herself into the ground.

Christmas is about being together not creating perfection. Noone will care if the house is a bit messy, the wrapping paper isn’t colour coordinated and the kids didn’t get everything on their list.

This is your holiday too, put yourself at the top of your list this Christmas 🎄♥️

Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes, I appreciate you all so much💓💓

Weekend Birthdays are the best and this weekend had it all - work Xmas lunch, Oprah, mum in hospital (now home 😅) and a lovely celebration lunch with the family. My girls spoilt me and made me cry with their beautiful card as usual!!

So then most don’t recognise the symptoms or have a plan in place.

In the past few weeks I have delivered some important, impactful menopause sessions for and - these organisations are such an amazing example of what can be achieved when an organisations people are seen, heard and valued at every life stage.

The menopause transition isn’t forever but 1 in 10 are leaving the workplace because of their symptoms. 1 in 4 have considered leaving.

We are working and living longer - 80% of menopausal women are at work - and we don’t get to leave our symptoms at home. They impact us in ways that are only starting to really be understood and acknowledged by workplaces.

It’s easy to see menopause as the end of who you were but what if it’s just the beginning of who you’re meant to be?
