Have you heard about this show at this year's Adelaide Fringe Festival - The Magic Pyjama Party?

The Magic Pyjama Party is a low-stim, inclusive magic show designed for children of all ages and their families. The performance is gentle, interactive, and intentionally designed to be welcoming for children who may benefit from a calmer, more sensory-aware environment.

This show is being performed for one day only at The Parks Theatre, Angle Park, on the 28th Feb (this Saturday!) at 11am and 2pm.

The show focuses on:

· ✨ Low-stim magic (no loud sounds or sudden surprises)
· 🧸 A relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere
· 🌈 Accessibility and inclusion for all children
· 🎭 Engagement through storytelling, imagination, and gentle audience interaction

Exciting new free Dads & Kids BBQ program in Southern SA

The Dads & Kids BBQ will run on the third Friday of each month, starting Friday 20 February, from 5:00–7:00pm

On offer:
• 🌭 Free sausage sizzle kindly provided by the Lions Club of Seaford
• 🎨 Activity play delivered by Communities for Children
• 🏀 Balls and scooters supplied by the centre (kids are also welcome to BYO)

This is a relaxed opportunity for dads to connect with other dads in the community, enjoy some downtime, and have fun with their kids in a welcoming, inclusive space.

Lunar New Year, widely considered the most important event of the year in Chinese communities around the planet, is here.

Marking the first new moon of the lunar calendar, it falls on February 17 in 2026.

The Year of the Horse represents success, vitality, strength, good fortune, prosperity, and opportunities. “In Chinese ancient history, horses are crucial in winning battles, which is why they symbolise the key to success and good fortune.”

Celebrations are this coming Saturday in Gouger St, Adelaide.
