Graham Boyce Physiotherapy Clinic

Graham Boyce Physiotherapy Clinic We take a physiological systems review of each patient in planning a bespoke treatment. Graham Boyce- Totally Different Physiotherapy Clinic. Who I am.

I always feel that there is something more for me to discover in our understanding about how the body works and consequently how to fix it. I present myself professionally as a rational therapist with my techniques based in science and yet I have also had metaphysical experiences and therefore respect such. I studied 6 years of Medicine and 4 years of Physiotherapy and still felt there was a great

need to have a much more detailed comprehensive and intricate understanding of how the body works. I began a knowledge quest over 30 years ago, which included Tai Chi (as a branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine), meditation and Buddhist healing, eventually studying for 10 years with distinguished Osteopathic Physician Dr. Loren Rex (URSA Foundation – Seattle). Dr. Rex urged us to examine the science of the day in which old techniques were developed and to look forward to how that science stands up to today’s understanding. Since then I have collected and translated at least 1,000 pages of antique German and French papers in the fields of anatomy, embryology and physiology which informs my understanding of Us. I have looked forward and searched for lost threads and dead ends of such work to uncover better answers to manual therapy problems. Over the years I have accrued an amazing knowledge base of how the body functions and an intricate picture of the physiology of a client’s problem. I have also explored and refined a repertoire of tools (manual techniques) to correct dysfunction. This knowledge is not just musculo-skeletal but includes the interrelationships of all of the body systems: embryological, neurological, vascular, lymphatic, hormonal and respiratory systems.

I'm obviously not a very good poster on this page, or any other in fact.

Here is a special moment that happened lately:

A career highlight: A little while back I presented a talk at the All Adelaide Anatomy and Pathology Discussion Group. The paper was presented to explain to the anatomy community why I would spend my time translating antique German medical literature. The current chairman is Professor Rainer Haberberger.

I used my opportunity to show the lost pathway that explains how some very old techniques, Chapman’s Neuro-lymphatic Technique, Bennett’s Neurovascular Dynamics and Ganglion Therapy actually work in a modern scientific way.

As part of my journey to discover this relationship I translated, several years ago, a paper from 1925, by a Japanese researcher Prof. Ken Kure about the “Spinal Parasympathetic” nervous system. I was able to show that this paper was a step in the direction that shows how human touch is a powerful antidote to stress.

I am pleased to say that my discussion was very well received. :)

Hello Everyone,

I have now moved into my new clinic rooms, at 74 Mary St Unley.

Parking for clients is available on the gravel drive, as shown in the picture attached. Apart from that area there is also on-street parking available.

My rooms are down the end of the corridor and to the right. I bring your attention to the presence of a small step about half way down. It is marked. And my name is on the door.

I have a separate waiting area just for clients of my clinic.

Looking to seeing you in the New Year.

Graham

My time at The Retreat, Shop 4, 518 Goodwood Rd is coming to an end. The Lease is coming up and the current lease-holders are not staying. I must find another venue. Covid and being exceedingly busy do not help.

I will, naturally, update my new location when it occurs. Meanwhile, my phone number will remain the same, and I am still open for business.

Right now, as you're reading this, lightning-fast instructions are racing through the fibres of your brain. But how do we image these fibres to try to make sense of this jumble? The answer — for some researchers — is with a modelling technique that produces "brainbows".

Get a tummy ache when you're nervous? We can thank two patients, who had very rare accidents, for our early understanding of what happens to the stomach when we're anxious and stressed.

For decades, the medical community has ignored mountains of evidence to wage a cruel and futile war on fat people, poisoning public perception and ruining millions of lives. It's time for a new paradigm.

When I'm not in the clinic, there are a number of things I like to do. At the moment it is the season for mushroom picking. The best ones are up in the Adelaide Hills. Many people are worried about mushrooms that are not familiar. That is a very good position to take since we do have some seriously poisonous ones around Adelaide as well as tasty ones. I have spent many years studying mushroom hunting. Here are a number of local mushrooms that are exceptionally tasty.

Hi all, I was very happy to give a short talk on Channel 44 recently.

I tried to make an explanation of my interest in Trophism, understandable to most people. You will have to be the judge of how well I did.
