I’m not sure if you’re aware, but the directors of Cobber Care are proudly collaborating with the wonderful breeders at Lilly Pilly Way Australian Cobberdogs. Australian Cobberdogs are cherished for their warm, intuitive gaze, strong human focus, and natural desire to bring joy to people of all ages.

At Cobber Care, we’re committed to weaving these incredible dogs into our supports, enriching the experience for both our participants and our staff through the unique comfort and connection that only animals can bring.

We’d love to hear from you—whether you’re curious to learn more, have ideas to share, or would like to offer any recommendations as we grow this program.

We’re also in the early stages of planning a respite home where participants will have meaningful opportunities to interact with these beautiful dogs and enjoy the happiness they inspire.

Introduction Jupiter (Joop, Joop Joop, Joopie), this beautiful Australian Cobberdog puppy is currently in training with Therapy and Support Animals Australia. She is showing a beautiful, calm, and connected temperament, and we are excited for her to one day be a part of Cobber Care and provide animal assisted therapies to our NDIS clients.

Welcome to our Cobber Care Australia page and thank you for following along! We are currently waiting for NDIS approval to become a fully operational business, but our aim is to provide a person-centered approach to our care along with incorporating animal assisted therapies in the form of fully trained therapy Australian Cobberdogs. With over 17 years of experience within the disability sector and seeing first-hand the profound and positive effect that animals can have on People with Disabilities, it is our sincerest wish to provide these supports to our clients. We will be providing updates as we go but we just wanted to briefly introduce ourselves. Stay tuned for more of an in-depth introduction of our core staff over the coming weeks and please feel free to follow along with our progress!
