October 15th is Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Day, a tender reminder of loss and the babies who left too soon 🕯

Today, we pause to honour every family who continues to carry that love in their hearts.

If someone you know is grieving, the smallest words can mean the most, and the wrong ones can unintentionally deepen their pain.

Here’s what not to say today, and what you can say instead 💕

🌞 Daylight Saving Starts This Weekend

We’re “springing” forward at 2am this Sunday, 5th October so don’t forget to set those non-digital clocks before you go to sleep Saturday night!

There is no change in QLD, NT or WA.

If you’re due for a trigger injection, timing is important so check with your nursing team on whether you need to account for the time difference.

🌟 Our Clinical Team at the FSANZ Annual Conference 2025!

Last week, our dedicated clinical staff were immersed in the FSANZ Annual Conference under the inspiring theme “Conceiving Possibilities: From Research to Reproductive Care.” 🧬✨

This annual event brings together leaders in reproductive medicine to share transformative ideas, cutting-edge research, and best practices that shape the future of patient care. We were proud to have some of our team present their thought leadership across reproductive science, sharing our expertise and experience to improve outcomes for patients.

Why does this matter? Because every insight gained and every innovation explored directly enhances the care we provide to our patients. Continuous learning is at the heart of clinical excellence and we’re proud to be part of a community that’s committed to advancing reproductive health.

Today is R U OK? Day a national reminder to pause, check in, and have the conversations that can truly make a difference.

When you’re navigating fertility treatment, emotions can feel like a rollercoaster - hope, frustration, sadness, resilience, joy… sometimes all in a single day. It’s completely normal to not always feel “OK.”

💛 If you’re supporting someone: Never underestimate the power of simply listening without judgement. Questions like “How are you, really?” or “What’s been on your mind?” can open the door to meaningful conversations.

💛 If you’re on your own fertility journey: Remember, it’s OK to share how you’re feeling, even if the answer isn’t “I’m OK.” Reaching out for support doesn’t make you weaker, it makes you human.

At FertilitySA, we believe mental wellbeing is just as important as physical health in fertility care. Our dedicated counsellors are here when our patients need a space to talk.

Today, and every day, let’s remind each other: you don’t have to go through this alone.

😰 We know that the first phone call to a fertility clinic can be a huge deal and that’s why Leana is the one who will be on the other end when you call Fertility SA.

Take a listen as she reveals to the thoughtful approaches used to make patients feel heard, supported, and confident in their next steps, even during what can be an overwhelming time. From handling emotional phone calls to coordinating care between different specialists, Leana’s role demonstrates how the human touch in healthcare can transform a clinical process into a compassionate journey 💓

🤩 BIG NEWS! 🤩

We’re beyond excited to announce that FertilitySA is now a proud major partner of the team for 2025!

From the roar of the Oval to the quiet moments in our clinic, we see the determination, resilience and heart it takes to chase your goals.

Here’s to flying high together this season – let’s go Crows! 💛❤️💙

“As a proud South Australian clinic, we’ve been supporting local families for almost 30 years. It’s Day 3 of Women’s Health Week and today’s theme is Heart Smart. ♥️

When we talk about fertility, we often focus on ovaries, s***m, and cycles. But your heart health plays a huge role too.

The truth is, the same habits that support your heart also support your fertility:

🏃‍♀️ Regular movement
🥗 Balanced nutrition
🧘 Stress management & sleep
🚭 Saying no to smoking

Your fertility journey is a marathon, not a sprint and looking after your heart gives your body the best foundation for the future.

♥️This Women’s Health Week, say yes to your heart and your fertility.
