Soft Rebellion – The Sacred Act of No Longer Explaining
“Healing begins when you stop explaining yourself.”
Not just to others – but to your own wounded nervous system. To the part of you that still believes it has to justify…
- why it feels
- why it knows
- why it says no
- why it walks away
There is a hidden layer of spiritual maturity that begins not when you become louder
but when your frequency becomes non-negotiable.
Unspoken. Unshakeable. Unapologetic.
In Siddha medicine, this is called Karuvil Pathu – the remembrance of your original design, the truth held inside your cellular field before the world taught you to beg for validation.
In ancient Japanese healing, the silence of the soul is seen as medicine. The samurai knew: true power needs no explanation. Just presence.

In Africa, the elders watch how you walk – not how you talk. They observe the harmony between your words and your breath. If your rhythm is off, they know your soul is still trying to explain something.
In South America, the medicine people wrap silence around a body like a blanket. Because trying to explain your knowing is the fastest way to betray it.
In Ayurveda, this is called Pragya Aparadha – the loss of inner wisdom through overthinking, overexposing, overjustifying.

In Mexico, they say:
“When a woman stops explaining, her spirit returns to her womb.” Because the womb is not interested in logic. Only in vibration.
In the Druidic tradition, every sacred “no” is a return to the forest of your soul. Every step away from over-explaining is a spell of sovereignty. And every soft rebellion – when done in silence – becomes an invocation of your original frequency.

And Bogar said:
“When the breath no longer defends itself, the body begins to remember light.”

So here’s the invitation:

-Stop explaining.
- Stop apologizing.
- Stop shrinking just to make others more comfortable.

Because the deeper truth is this:
- Your body knows.
- Your boundaries are not attitudes.
- They are instructions.
- Your silence is not avoidance.
- It is a portal.

Myofascial release (MFR) is highly important for easing tension stored in the body, especially in the neck, because:

Fascia holds stress and trauma – Tight fascia restricts movement and compresses muscles and nerves, often creating chronic stiffness in the neck.

The neck carries daily strain – Posture from phones, screens, driving and emotional stress commonly overloads the cervical region, leading to pain, headaches, and reduced mobility.

MFR restores natural alignment – Releasing fascial tension helps rebalance the head, neck, and shoulders, reducing the pull that causes postural imbalance.

MFR can help improve circulation and nerve function – When fascia softens, blood flow, lymphatic drainage, and nerve communication improve, supporting healing and pain reduction.

Gentle yet deeply effective – Unlike forceful stretching or massage, MFR targets the connective tissue, allowing deeper, longer-lasting relief.

MFR can support our overall wellbeing – Neck tension is linked to migraines, jaw issues (TMJ), anxiety, shallow breathing, and shoulder pain. Releasing it can calm the nervous system and enhance quality of life.

In short: Myofascial release in the neck is essential for reducing pain, improving movement, supporting healthy posture and easing the physical and emotional tension that the neck so often carries.

Teaching and sharing the practice is always an honour. To witness changes, strength, balance and connection within others is really the blessings of being a yoga and meditation teacher.

Something I am so privileged and sacred to watch. And always so blessed to see people in community centres form friendship and laughter together.

The process teaches patience, love, and respect for life. Every sprout, flower, and piece of produce becomes more meaningful because you played a part in its creation. The harvest feels precious—not just because it feeds your body, but because it nourishes your heart.

SATURN IS DIRECT ~ 2025's More Difficult Life Lessons Evolve, Dear Awakened Souls, It's happened! Saturn has just completed its challenging and yet, deeply transformational 4 month retrograde.

Think back to all that you've been through since mid-July (all that's happened ~ the many, many, often-emotional transitions). Look at what's happened globally too. It's been immense. Some of the biggest lessons of our lives regarding AUTHORITY and taking responsibility. People are being held to account. We've held ourselves to account. It's soul's way. Now, we must embody our truth 🙌🏻

I just want to express my deep gratitude for our beautiful Stretches Silence and Sounds events yoga we’ve shared for the past 5 years.

It has given so many people new experiences, moments of stillness, healing, and connection. Knowing how much it has touched each of us fills my heart with so much appreciation.

There’s a gentle sadness in seeing this chapter pause for a little while, but also a sense of trust that the pause is part of the practice too — a breath in between moments.

Thank you for everything you have all brought to our sacred spaces, for the energy, the openness, and the magic you’ve shared.

Until we gather again, may the echoes of this experience continue to move through us.
