Today at FBW Gynaecology Plus & Desert Flower Centre South Australia, we were honoured to witness a meaningful full-circle moment 👶. One of our valued team members, Ashley, was delivered by Professor O’Shea — and today, they stood side by side 🫶🏻

This sweet moment highlights the deep connections that can form through generations of dedicated women’s healthcare.

We extend our best wishes to both Ashley and Professor O’Shea — a beautiful reminder of how life’s journey often brings us back to where it all began.

Meryl Streep once said: Let things fall apart — stop exhausting yourself trying to hold them together. Not everything is meant to last forever, and forcing what is already breaking will only drain you. Sometimes, the best thing you can do is let go ♥️

You do not need to explain yourself to those who are committed to misunderstanding you 🙌🏼

You are not responsible for how others choose to see you or how they react to your truth.

Life always finds a way to balance itself, even when we can’t see how ⚖️

There is a rhythm to life, a natural order of endings and beginnings 🎼

And never, for a second, believe that the best is behind you.

Life does not stop offering beauty just because you have endured hardship 🪻

There is still more joy to experience, more love to receive, more peace to be found. But you must be willing to make room for it.

So, ask yourself—What am I holding onto that is holding me back? And when you find the answer, trust yourself enough to let it go. Something better is already on its way.

On this Winter’s Day in Adelaide, the team at FBW Gynaecology Plus & Desert Flower Centre South Australia, send love to all of our valued followers, including those experiencing hardships and we pray for peace in countries experiencing conflict 🫶🏻

Dr Willison is currently attending the combined conference of the IUGA (International Urogynaecological Association) and EUGA (European Urogynaecological Association) in Barcelona, Spain 🇪🇸

She is continuing to pursue her knowledge about the latest developments in
medicine and 🙌🏼

One of the workshops attended by Dr Willison was led by Professor Anna Rosamilia, (the current president of IUGA), where she learnt about harvesting fascia lata for repair.

In cases of pelvic organ prolapse, it is now possible to use a patient’s own fascia (from the thigh) in a procedure called autologous fascia lata sacrocolpopexy. This offers strong, natural support without synthetic mesh — a great option for women wanting biologic, long-term repair 💪✨
