Anna's Bio - see: About - Details about you ... Anna Kranz has been a Registered Nurse most of her working life and has attained further university qualifications in both psychology and bioethics. In more recent years, she worked in end-of-life care in a palliative care facility in Sydney until 2006, continuing in a voluntary capacity, until 2011, when she and her husband, Grahame, moved to South Australia. While still in Sydney, between 2008 and 2011, Anna served as the Buddhist Chaplain at The Prince of Wales Hospital. In mid-2008, she founded Compassionate Companions, a volunteer group drawing together people from the Buddhist community in Sydney, to study, explore and practice the principles of skillful care with people who are dying. In August 2016, Anna completed the Midwifeing Death course, with Dr Michael Barbato, a highly regarded Palliative Care Physician in New South Wales. After two decades of looking into the philosophy and practices of various Buddhist traditions, in 2005, Anna encountered Recollective Awareness Meditation in a Sydney workshop taught by Jason Siff (www.facebook.com - Skillful Meditation Project), and since 2009, has been exploring, practicing and teaching this more radical process of mindfulness meditation. Since the beginning of Project Wellbeing Centre in 2012, as an independent meditation teacher, Anna has conducted individual and group sessions, workshops and retreats in Recollective Awareness Meditation and other experiential wellbeing practices (Fragrant Qi Gong, MFEs, EFT, Sound work, Breath work, including laughter sessions [Larf Out Loud]), in the Barossa, in Adelaide, and more recently exclusively online.
