Spend a Tuesday with Rise Above Mentoring 🧡🖤

Skills developed include:

- independence ordering food and making transactions🍎
- following a list and getting all ingredients 📋
- building upon skills and independence in kitchen 🧑‍🍳
- increasing physical wellbeing by walking 🚶
- building resilience and gaining a sense of accomplishment 💪

I was lucky enough to be able to support Cillian on his school camp a few weekends ago. 🏕️

The camp is designed to push everyone out of their comfort zones and seeks to promote self-discovery, interactive social skills as well as a more holistic understanding of the natural world through experiential, adventurous and environmental education. 🌲👬

Many activities were undertaken such as sailing, kayaking, camping and orienteering .⛵️🛶

It was great to see Cillian be able to push himself so far out of his comfort zone and realise he is capable of more than he previously thought.
