Hi! I’m Julie-Anne, an Independent Provider as a mentor for people with disabilities and are funded through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
Through my work I help others to fulfill their goals, teach life skills, help them to connect with other people, community and services, and empower them to be more independent. I also aim to bring fun and joy to their lives while focussing on their NDIS goals.
I have experience in different types of disabilities including:
• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)
• Dementia
• Acquired Brain Injury
• Cerebral Palsy
• Hearing Impairment
• Intellectual Disability
• Global Developmental Delay
• Down Syndrome
Other areas of experience are:
• Gender Dysphoria
• Anxiety
• Depression
• Hoarding
Through this page I will share my journey as a mentor. This will include • Challenges and success stories of participants • Helpful tools and aids for people with disabilities. • Activities I do with participants, and places I visit around South Australia accessible to people with disabilities.
