Donate a Life Week 2025 ❀ πŸ“†

Every year, thousands of Australians benefit from the life-saving, health-restoring, and life-improving effects of organ, eye, and tissue donation.

Did you know?
❌ Donating eyes and tissues can save the lives of up to seven people and benefit countless others.
❌ Only around 1 in 3 (36%) are registered to be a donor on the Australian Organ Donor Register
❌ There are around 1,800 Australians on the waitlist for a transplant and an additional 14,000 people on dialysis – many of whom could benefit from a kidney transplant.

With only a small number of potential donors, increasing consent is critical to increasing our donation rate.

This significant annual campaign encourages Australians to register as donors and discuss their desires with their families in order to increase awareness of organ and tissue donation.

Register today at https://www.donatelife.gov.au/register-donor-today and help save lives!

NAIDOC WEEK 6th - 13th July πŸ“†
NAIDOC Week commemorates a significant milestone as we go into 2025: 50 years of valuing and promoting Indigenous resilience, culture, and voices.

"The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy," the theme for 2025, honors not just the accomplishments of the past but also the promising future that lies ahead, driven by the legacy of our predecessors, the strength of our young leaders, and the vision of our communities.
All Australians get the chance to learn about First Nations cultures and histories during NAIDOC Week and take part in festivities.
