Lately, I’ve been reflecting on how important healthy boundaries are in all kinds of relationships—romantic, family, friendships, even at work. Boundaries aren’t about pushing people away—they’re about creating space for mutual respect and emotional safety.

Whether it’s saying “no” without guilt, asking for what you need, or recognising your limits, setting boundaries is one of the most loving things you can do for yourself and others.

I’m diving into this topic and would love to hear you

Raising S*xually Intelligent Kids provides information on role modelling healthy relationship boundaries.

🌈💭 When you hear the words s*x and s*xuality, what comes to mind?

For many of us, our understanding of s*x and s*xuality is shaped by limited definitions — often reduced to attraction or behavior. But it is far more complex. It includes identity, desire, emotional connection, personal values, and even how we see ourselves in the world.

So here's a gentle challenge:
Could your definition be too narrow?
And if so, what might open up if you started thinking about s*x and s*xuality more broadly?

Raising S*xually Intelligent Kids provides information on the definition of s*xuality.

🧠💬 Where Do Kids Learn About S*x?

It’s a question more parents, caregivers, and educators are asking — and for good reason.

Kids are growing up in a world full of information, but not all of it is accurate, age-appropriate, or healthy. From TikTok to playground whispers, from YouTube videos to health class (if they even have one), our kids are forming ideas about s*x, relationships, consent, and bodies earlier than ever.

So the real question becomes: Do we want them learning from the internet... or from us?

This isn’t about "the talk" — it’s about ongoing, honest conversations that build trust and help them make sense of what they see and hear.

Raising S*xually Intelligent Kids provides information on how to find accurate s*xuality information.

🌱 Let’s talk about something that shapes us more than we often realise: the messages we received about s*x growing up.

Whether it was silence, shame, fear, curiosity, jokes, or open conversation, we all got some kind of message about s*x as kids. And those messages—spoken or unspoken—stick with us. They influence how we view our bodies, relationships, boundaries, and even our self-worth.

As adults, it's worth asking:
🧠 What did I learn about s*x growing up?
❓ Where did those messages come from?
💬 How are they still showing up in my life today?

Let’s start the conversation. 💬

📱 Kids are growing up in a digital world—and they’re being exposed to media earlier than ever.

Whether it’s violent content, unrealistic body standards, or explicit s*xual material, what they see shapes how they think about themselves, others, and relationships.

The solution isn’t panic—it’s preparation. Let’s start the conversations early, build critical thinking, and create space for kids to ask questions.

They’re seeing more than we think. Let’s make sure they’re also hearing from us. 🧠💬

Being a teen is confusing. Being a parent of a teen? Even more so—especially when it comes to conversations about s*xuality.

But here’s the truth: your teen wants a safe place to ask questions, figure things out, and feel seen. You don’t need all the answers. You just need to be open, curious, and judgment-free.

Let them know: "You can talk to me." That simple message can make all the difference. 💬💙

✨ It’s time to expand the conversation around s*xuality education. Yes, it’s about safety, consent, and anatomy—but it should also be about pleasure.

Understanding pleasure helps people connect with their bodies, make informed choices, and build healthier, more respectful relationships.

Let’s normalize talking about what feels good—not just what to avoid. Pleasure belongs in the conversation. 💬💛

Let’s Talk About Pleasure — Yes, That Kind. ❤🥳

When we think about s*xuality education, we often focus on the basics: anatomy, STIs, birth control, consent. All essential topics. But there’s one piece that’s usually left out—and it matters more than we think: pleasure.

Teaching about pleasure isn’t about encouraging s*x—it’s about helping people understand their bodies, their boundaries, and what healthy, respectful intimacy can actually look like. When we leave pleasure out of the conversation, we leave out the why behind so many choices.

Pleasure - It belongs in the conversation.

How Many Teens Are Actually Having S*x? 🤔 Let’s Talk About It.

When it comes to teens and s*x, there’s a lot of guessing—and a lot of myths. Some parents assume “everyone’s doing it.” Others believe their teen would never go there. The truth? It’s somewhere in between.

What matters most isn’t just whether they’re having s*x—but whether they feel safe, informed, respected, and supported in their choices.

The First Time Someone Sees Pornography… It Matters. 📱😳

Let’s talk about something that makes many of us uncomfortable but is happening every day—often younger than we think.

For many kids (and adults), their first exposure to po*******hy isn’t intentional. It’s a pop-up, a friend’s phone, a curious search, or even just a mistake. But that first experience leaves an impression—sometimes confusing, sometimes exciting, sometimes upsetting.

The truth is, po*******hy is easier to access than ever. Pretending it’s not there doesn’t protect our kids. But honest, age-appropriate conversations can.

Talking about s*x with your teenager isn’t always easy—it can feel uncomfortable, overwhelming, or just plain awkward. But it’s so important.

You don’t need to have all the answers. What matters is creating a safe space where your teen feels seen, heard, and respected. Start with curiosity. Ask what they already know.

The goal isn’t one big “talk.” It’s many small, ongoing, judgment-free conversations.

Let’s normalise open, honest communication. They’re listening—more than you think. 💙
