📣ANNOUNCEMENT 📣
Just Listening Community will offer a free 12-month training program beginning October 2025.

The name of the course is Just Listening and Humane Clinic Approaches to Being With a Person Experiencing Psychotic, Suicidal, or Other Human Distress.

This course is possible thanks to the support of the Fay Fuller Foundation and the Suzanne Elliot Charitable Trust. The course will be delivered by therapists from Humane Clinic Psychotherapy Collective.

Training participants will be required to commit one day per week (over 40 weeks of the year) to complete the classroom and therapeutic community-based course. We ask potential participants to email their expression of interest to info@justlistening.com.au. Places on the training are limited and participants will be invited to attend following a selection process.

This change will facilitate the direction of Humane Clinic and Just Listening approaches to be equally nurtured by Berny, Rory, and Matt as we continue to be of service to individuals, families, networks and organisations.

Humane Clinic - National Institute for Humane Responses to Hearing Voices, Psychosis & Su***de, is a Psychotherapy centre that values the autonomy and empowerment of individuals in navigating the experiences of being human and provides an alternative to diagnosis led approaches.

Announcement: Just Listening Therapeutic Community is opening on 1st September 2025.

Our doors will be open 5 days per week, Monday to Friday.

Just Listening Therapeutic Community will support people experiencing psychosis, suicidal distress, or other emotional distress - offering a just experience of listening, connection and community.

The psychotherapeutically informed approach, based in established theoretical and practical frameworks, will be led by professionals and supported community members trained in the Just Listening and Humane Clinic approaches.

4 Days to go to make a tax free Donation before the end of the financial year.

Just Listening Community will offer 1-1 support, community space and groups for any person in psychosis, suicidal or other distress.
The services will be free walk in and appointments.
The support will be led by Humane Clinic psychotherapists who have developed the Just Listening approach over the past 5 years in preparation to offer this Soteria inspired Therapeutic Community response to any person in distress.

Be part of a different response to mental health crisis and distress.
