We have Christmas care bags for the Mums at Centacare- How excited for them to receive these gifts from us

Thank you to Julie and Catherine (and team) for sewing the care bags, Kym for the Christmas cards, Gina for scrunchies and the team for packing the bags from donations in the Purple Bins.. a real team effort!!

Thank you ladies for all your wonderful Donations that will be made up into Christmas gift packs for the Mums of Centacare- Southern suburbs. So many wonderful things for these women in need at Christmas time.

New Bin Liners!!

Making it easier for our team to empty the bins.

• pick up an extra product when you are shopping
• find your nearest PURPLE BIN (DM for help!)
• drop donations into The Purple bin!!

All donations put into toiletries bags for those in need and passed onto people in need through Centacare and Lutheran Care..

We have a bin being Hosted by Erin Thompson MP -.Aberfoyle Park Office ( shop 11,Aberfoyle Hub Shopping Centre, Hub Drive, Aberfoyle Park)

Please drop any donations of toiletries for men, women and children & youth into this bin at Erin’s office.

Toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, hair brushes, body wash and body gel, lip balms, deodorant, shaving cream, body lotions,body moisturiser, hand creams …feminine hygiene products- pads and tampons.

All toiletries must be:
* NEW, unopened, un used.

We accept any of the following:
* Any brands of toiletries
* MINI toiletries- yes please.

Gorgeous Mother’s Day Care Bags for 42 Mums at Centacare in South Australia.

Thanks staff for letting us support your women with this vital campaign..

Each Mum will get a hand made care bag that includes the following items:
pair of new winter Pjs
hand knitted bed socks
glam pack
And there is more
hand sewn facial wipes, aprons, tea towels, scrunchies, head bands plus other beautiful donated items.

All are from our community supporting With Love & Kindness projects, including The Purple Bin Project 😃 and the annual Mother’s Day campaign.

Big thank you to all who purchased the pjs, made cards, sewed special items, knitted bed socks - wrote cards, packed bags. We couldn’t have pulled off 42 bags this year with out all your contributions…
Last year was 25, woo hoo we almost double that with 42

Thanks for caring for others and making other Mums feel loved snd cared for on Mother’s Day 🙌

Thank you Senator Andrew McLachlan CSC for visiting the Aberfoyle Community Centre today 😀 We appreciate your kind donations and support of The Purple Bin Project.

It’s all about - Community supporting community!!

I took a little time out from meeting constituents in the South and called into the Aberfoyle Community Centre to make a donation to the Purple Bin Project. As a Senator, I spend plenty of time away from home and family. Along the way, I collect toiletries from my hotels so I can make donations to local charities.

The Purple Bin Project is an initiative of With Love & Kindness and the City of Onkaparinga. Donations are assembled into hygiene packs and provided directly to families experiencing difficulties.

Purple Bins are located at the Aberfoyle Community Centre, Wakefield House, Seaford Community Centre, Reynella Neighbourhood Centre Inc and Woodcroft-Morphett Vale Neighbourhood Centre.
