Abbotts Liquid Salvage are currently looking for a full time HR vacuum truck driver to join our team.

Job includes loading and unloading waste tankers, servicing septic systems, grease traps, portaloos and various other types of systems in the industry throughout the great southern region. Applicants must be confident to drive & reverse into tight and tricky places, must be physically fit and motivated as lifting lids, running suction hoses and digging up sewerage tanks are daily tasks. Appplicant must be able to work unsupervised and in a team environment with an understanding of job safety.

Applicants require an open HR license, a current fatigue management certificate, commercial driver clearance, police clearance, be able to pass D&A testing, have good oral and written skills as there is daily documentation required to meet controlled waste regulations.

A controlled waste license and MSIC is required and help obtaining these will be provided.

Not all days are 💩 days......

Something a little different yesterday, sucking up spoilt carbon media from a sewerage station. Odour from within the station is sucked through the media were the carbon removes molecules in the air and then disperses clean air back in to the atmosphere

Job Position available

We are currently chasing a fit reliable heavy rigid driver to join our expanding team for around town collection of waste, grease trap and sewerage pump outs. 3 month probation with guarantee of full time work if successful. Drug and alcohol clearance, fatigue management and criminal history clearance required. .Will require a controlled waste licence which we can help obtain.

Also require

MC driver for out of town contract work

HC driver for current contract work possibility of further contract work.

Job includes loading and unloading controlled waste tankers, locating & servicing septic systems, grease traps, portaloos and various other types of systems in the industry throughout the whole great southern region. Applicants must be confident and able to reverse into tight and tricky places, must be physically fit and motivated as lifting lids, running suction hoses and digging up tanks are daily tasks. Appplicant must be able to work unsupervised majority of time once trained.

Applicants must have excellent customer service and communication skills as well as holding an open HR license, a current fatigue management certificate, commercial driver clearance, police clearance, be able to pass D&A testing, have good oral and written skills as there is documentation required to meet controlled waste regulations. MSIC for port access would be beneficial. Must be vaxed and have certificate for site access.

A controlled waste license and MSIC is required and help obtaining these can be provided.

Looking for reliable, motivated, energetic and hard working individual to join our team. Long term established business. Job includes collection and safe transportation of controlled liquid waste from customers yards to our depot with 12hr days normally two nights away from home. Heavy vehicle accreditation knowledge and history of tanker operations preferred but not essential.

Minimum requirements:
MC license
Drug, alcohol and police clearances.
Covid certificate
Fatigue management certificate
Current commercial drivers medical

Controlled waste license - can arrange on our end if applicant meets other requirements

Must be based in Albany WA.
