I’m so proud to partner with Heart Hub South West - Road Trauma Support to provide compassionate and professional counselling for anyone affected by road trauma.
Reach out to Taryn if you’re in the Albany area and need support.

🌿 Welcome Carolyn 🌿

We’re so pleased to warmly welcome Carolyn Campbell from Great Southern Counselling to our Heart Hub counselling team, as we expand our support services into the Great Southern region.

Based in Albany, Carolyn will be offering free counselling and support to individuals and families who have been emotionally impacted by road trauma.

With over 15 years of experience, Carolyn has supported adults, young people and families across schools, not-for-profits, and private practice. She brings a compassionate, trauma-informed and person-centred approach — walking alongside people through grief, anxiety, trauma and more.

While we wish our service wasn’t needed, we’re incredibly grateful to be able to offer this support to the Great Southern community — and to have Carolyn there to walk alongside those whose lives have been forever changed.

If you or someone you know has been impacted by a road crash and would like to connect with Carolyn, or learn more about the services we offer, please reach out.

Some great Self Care Tips to remember this Christmas Season🎄

During this time of year, self-care is often the first thing that gets sacrificed when life is busy and stressful, but that’s when it’s most important.

Dr Jan Orman, GP Services Consultant, says, "When you take time for yourself to rest, reset, and rejuvenate, you will actually have more energy to meet the demands of daily life as well as reduce or avoid the symptoms of mental ill-health.”

Taking time to care for your health and wellbeing is a necessity 🧡 Here are some important self-care reminders👇

💡 Myth: Therapy is only for people with serious mental health issues.
✅ Fact: Therapy is for everyone - whether you’re seeking clarity, healing, or growth. Taking care of your mental health is a normal function of developing a healthy life💭

Struggling with Christmas🎄stress? Try the 4-7-8 breathing technique 😮‍💨:

1️⃣ Inhale for 4 seconds
2️⃣ Hold your breath for 7 seconds
3️⃣ Exhale slowly for 8 seconds
Repeat 4 times to calm your mind and body 🧘‍♂️

You’ve got this! Reach out if you need support through this season.

“It's okay to stop and rest. If you need a break, it's okay to say you need a break" — Jamie Tworkowski.

If left unchecked, feelings of stress and overwhelm can affect our ability to focus and concentrate, our energy levels, headaches and stomachaches, our interest in things we used to enjoy, as well as our interactions with others.

Whilst they are a natural part of life, having these feelings constantly or not being able to manage these emotions in a healthy way, may be a sign that additional support is needed.

If this is you, give yourself a break and get the support you need. I’m here to help.

Connect with me today to start finding the rest and peace you deserve.
