We are seeking an experienced Remedial massage therapist to join our “macksmassage” team in Albany Western Australia.

What we will give you
- Competitive remuneration
- You choose your working days/nights and
times(excluding Sundays) that are equal to your
weekly contracted hours
- Annual CPE education and training allowance
- Work in our newly fully equiped and furnished
treatment rooms
- linen is laundered for you

What we are looking for
- Diploma of Remedial Massage
- Eligible to be registered with Private Health Funds in
Australia
- Registered with a Massage Association in Australia
- Valid First Aid
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of our team
- Strong commitment to professional development and
client care
- Preferred 38hr/ week full time
- Part time considered

Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional and friendly environment for
clients and other practitioners
- Willingness to continually build “macksmassage”
Brand and client base
- Perform client musculoskeletal pre, mid and post
treatment assessments
- Develop tailored client treatment plans
- Provide Remedial massage
- Prescribe post treatment care
- Manage own clinic appointments, including bookings,
emails and phone calls
- Maintain client clinical notes
- Ensure the treatment room is cleaned after each
treatment
- Additional qualifications to provide Shiatsu,
Relaxation, Swedish and or Hot Stone massage is
desired but not essential

Hi Guys,

Abby here, just thought I would jump on and introduce myself. I am relatively new to Albany having only moved here at the beginning of last year from my home town Kalgoorlie where I was born and raised. After many years of not really knowing what I wanted to do with my career and having spent a period of time in the mining industry I decided to leave my desert home and head to the sand, hence the name. After being in Albany for only 6 months the opportunity arose to complete my Diploma of Remedial massage, I bit the bullet and decided to follow a career I had always been interested in. After a year worth of study, countless assignments and many great people met along the way I have come to the end and taking the leap of starting my own business. I am incredibly excited to endeavour on this adventure with the support of my amazing partner, family and friends! I hope you can follow and support me along the way. ✨✨
