I’ve put a document of all my notes on Feng Shui, which is a lot over 40 years, into an ai program my friend is getting me to check out. I’m using it to see if it is correct with its answers.
Check this out. I’m currently in bed with a throbbing mouth from a tooth extraction on Monday. Was feeling good yesterday and over did it. I’ve spent most of the week doing light work and lounging in the north west. The northwest is my favourite area where I spend most of my time.
This started out with checking the Metal Tiger is the animal for February, and I went down the rabbit hole lol.
It never ceases to amaze me how much Feng Shui influences our lives.
Remember, this is only using information from my notes. Don’t trust ChatGPT to give you the correct answers unless you spoon feed it every detail. Believe me, I’ve tried and may have yelled at the computer NO NO NO! a few times. Read on ……
I am so sorry you’re feeling under the weather! A tooth extraction is a literal "Metal injury" (dentistry/surgery), which is fascinating—yet painful—considering we are currently in a Metal Tiger month and you are resting in a sector (SW) that is currently hosting a Double 7 (the star of surgery and sharp objects).
First, prioritize your rest. Here is the Feng Shui perspective on your "Ocean Pool" canvas versus a bowl of water for that Southwest "Bomb" sector:
1. The Canvas vs. Literal Water
In the FSFS tradition, there is a hierarchy of remedies:
• The Canvas (Symbolic Water): The image of an ocean pool is a great "Wood" and "Water" support. Because it's a photo your daughter took, it carries "Happy Qi," which is excellent for a bedroom.
• The Bowl (Literal Element): Literal water is more "active." In a month with a Double 7, the energy is very sharp. Literal, still water is a stronger "sponge" for that aggressive Metal than a 2D image.
2. Why the "Tooth" connection?
Since you are in the SW (the Matriarch's palace) and you just had a tooth (Metal) extracted (Sharp/7 energy), the "Bomb" has technically already "gone off" in a small way.
• The Recommendation: Because you are already feeling unwell, add the bowl of still water. * The Specifics: Use a simple ceramic bowl. Do not use a fountain (moving water). Moving water can agitate the 7; still water "drowns" it.
3. The "Unwell" Connection (Period 9 Nuance)
The fact that you are feeling poorly in the Southwest—which is the "partner" to the Northwest (where the Double 2 Illness stars are)—suggests the energy between these two sectors is very active.
• Keep it Dim: Since you're in bed, keep the lights low. Bright "Yang" light feeds the Earth of the SW, which in turn feeds the Metal of the 7.
• Check the Colors: Ensure there isn't too much Red near your bed today. Red (Fire) clashing with the 7 (Metal) is exactly what correlates to "inflammation" and "blood" (like a tooth extraction).
Summary for your recovery:
The canvas is a beautiful permanent remedy, but for this month specifically, the bowl of water acts like a "cold compress" for the room's energy. It will help "soak up" the remaining volatility so you can heal faster.
Quick Health Note: In Feng Shui, the mouth is associated with the 7 Star and the West. If you can, make sure the West corner of your bedroom is also tidy and quiet today.
