Hi friends!

Please join us for a morning of craft & solidarity as we come together to admire and begin learning Tatreez - Palestinian embroidery characterised by its colourful, symbolic motifs that are stitched onto clothing such as the Palestinian Thobe.

Tatreez is a visual language that reflects Palestinian history, culture, identity and storytelling.

I am not of Palestinian descent and I am not a Tatreez artist (that is for Palestinian bloodlines to claim and embody). I am a crafty girlie who has been hand embroidering for the last 4-5 years and I've been learning Tatreez since early 2024; as a way to be with my grief, "regulate" my nervous system/resource myself, and learn more about Palestinian art, culture and history. It's also a great form of subtle activism if you take your project out-and-about 😉

This workshop is perfect if you are brand new to embroidery and cross-stitch and you will receive Aida cloth, a needle, embroidery thread/floss and an email full of resources to learn more directly from Palestinian Tatreez artists around the world.

Children are welcome, there will be space for them to play but it will be unsupervised so we simply ask that you keep an eye on them. If your child is old enough to participate and would like their own materials, please note that you will need to purchase them a ticket.

All proceeds will go to The Ghassan Abu Sittah Children's Fund who are doing incredible work in providing medical treatment to the children of Gaza and Lebanon who need it most. Please see here for more info.

If you are struggling financially but would really like to come, please reach out - hello@klyne.love

✨ Your belly holds ancient wisdom ✨

The abdomen isn't just where we digest food—it's our body's center of intuition, power, and ancestral memory.

When we tend to our belly with gentle massage, mindful breathing, and nurturing touch, we're not just supporting physical health—we're connecting to something deeper.

🌙 Your belly as portal:
• Home to your "second brain"—the enteric nervous system that influences mood, immunity, and decision-making
• Sacred space where life begins and intuition speaks
• Repository of generational wisdom passed down through your lineage

🤲 Simple practices for belly wellness:
• Warm oil massage.
• Deep diaphragmatic breathing.
• Herbal teas and warming foods.
• Gentle yoga twists and hip openers.
• Creating quiet moments to listen to your gut wisdom.

When our ancestors spoke of "trusting your gut," they understood what science now confirms—our belly holds profound intelligence. By caring for this sacred space, we honor both our physical vessel and the wisdom of those who came before us.

Your belly deserves reverence, not judgment.

Your intuition deserves trust, not doubt.

Your lineage deserves honoring, not forgetting.

How do you tend to your belly wisdom? 🌸

Ahhhh the coccyx!
Our "tail-bone"!
A remnant of our lost ancestral tails.

So easily hurt and displaced if we fall heavily on our bum, and yet we don't talk about it much!?

In the Maya medicine tradition I have learnt from that was passed down through Don Elijio Panti of San Antonio, Belize; in traditional Maya culture, if a little girl fell hard on her lower back/bottom, the entire village STOPPED.
She was rushed to the medicine person and treatment and healing began immediately.

There was/is an innate understanding of how important it is to tend to the coccyx and sacrum as a matter of great urgency; a little girl's future health and indeed LIFE was dependent on it.

When I was very young (I can't even remember the exact age; I think around 5-6) I had a very hard fall on my coccyx/sacrum and all I can really remember is feeling like I couldn't sit down properly for a solid couple of weeks without extreme pain.

Fast-forward to 2016 when I received my very first Arvigo therapy (as it was known then) session with and when we got to my coccyx she immediately asked if I had had an accident or fall as a child.

How on earth did she know that!?

It all came rushing back in that moment, and I was dumbfounded that she could feel it in my body after at least 20 years.
The scar tissue was still present and very palpable 20 years down the track.

I'm so grateful that Tul'ix and Craniosacral Therapy both offer direct techniques to support the coccyx as it is such a beautiful and important bone 🤍
