So we are just over 12 months into our journey and we would like to really thank all of our staff at the infinity family, all of our families that have welcomed us into their home to help support them and kick those goals and all of our supporters who have provided so much encouragement and support. We are well into our our journey of raising the the level of support provided out there and raise the standards in the industry and make a change for the better to help all families out there and advocate for better. We will soon have capacity for more clients as we grow so spread the word so if anyone is interested in person centred care and genuine passion for achieving goals please reach out. Thank you again to everyone who has been part of the infinity family and we look forward to the journey ahead.

💜 Introducing Epilepsy WA’s 2026 Support Groups 💜

We’re excited to launch our 2026 Support Group Program, created to provide a safe, supportive and empowering space for people living with epilepsy, their families and carers.

🌟 What makes our groups special?
• Professionally facilitated by experienced health and community professionals
• Supportive and non-judgemental environments where you can share experiences and ask questions
• Accessible options for both in-person and online attendees
• A focus on connection, education and wellbeing
• Free to attend, thanks to the generous support of our community

Whether you’re newly diagnosed, supporting a loved one, or simply looking to connect with others who understand, our groups offer a welcoming place to learn, share and feel heard.

Our Support Group Network Is Growing!

We are delighted to announce that starting February 11th, every 2nd Wednesday of the month we will have a new support group meeting at the Dome, 26 Riverside Rd in East Fremantle from 12 noon to 1:30pm.

This is a welcome addition to our existing and well attended support groups in Bunbury, Armadale, Nedlands, Midland, Joondalup and online.

Rare Disease Day is marked on the last day of February annually. In 2026, Rare Disease Day falls on Saturday 28 February.

Rare Disease Day is the globally coordinated movement for rare diseases, working towards equity in social opportunity, healthcare, and access to diagnosis for people living with a rare disease. Rare Voices Australia is on the Steering Committee for Rare Disease Day, which focuses on longer term campaign strategy planning.

Globally, 300 million people worldwide live with a rare disease. Locally, Rare Disease Day is an opportunity to raise awareness and inform policymakers about the issues faced by the Australian rare disease community, with the aim to achieve the best outcomes for Australians living with a rare disease.

Epilepsy WA will be in Bunbury on Friday 14 November presenting another Mixed Group Training Session.

Would you know what to do if someone had a seizure? Knowing seizure first aid can make all the difference.

These one-hour courses provide essential knowledge about epilepsy, seizure types, seizure first aid, and administering anti-seizure medication, equipping participants with the skills to support individuals living with epilepsy. This training is ideal for anyone with a duty of care in this area.

Epilepsy WA provides comprehensive training sessions to equip you with the essential knowledge. You'll learn critical Epilepsy & Seizure First Aid techniques and how to administer Emergency Anti-Seizure Medication effectively.

Our tailored sessions offer valuable insights and are incredibly beneficial, whether you're caring for a loved one, a medical professional, or simply looking to expand your knowledge.

We’re running a special session in Bunbury on 14 November 2025, at 9am and 10.30am at the City of Bunbury Libraries.

🩺 Registered Nurse – Continence Assessment & NDIS Report Writing

About Us
At Infinity Nursing Care and Disability Support, we are a compassionate and professional team dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to NDIS participants across Southwest WA. Our mission is to empower individuals to live their best lives through quality nursing, clinical assessments, and person-centred care.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our growing clinical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in continence management and be confident in completing comprehensive continence assessments and NDIS-compliant reports.
This role offers flexibility and autonomy, with the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of participants by supporting them to access appropriate continence supports through the NDIS.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough continence assessments for NDIS participants in line with best practice and NDIS requirements.
• Develop detailed continence care plans and professional clinical reports to support NDIS funding applications or reviews.
• Liaise with participants, families, and support coordinators to ensure individual needs are understood and met.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold professional and ethical nursing standards.
• Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.

About You
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Demonstrated experience in continence assessment and management (NDIS experience highly regarded).
• Strong clinical reasoning and report-writing skills.
• Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to reliable transport.
• Current Police Check, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
