Geez I’ve met some bloody good humans in my time. Men who stand tall, men who listen when needed and speak up when it matters. I’ve met men who take opportunities and make opportunities. And then I met this legend.
This man standing by my side is a young man who not only physically holds a presence but emotionally and spiritually too. This man is strong with his words and open with his heart. He’s driven to make a better life for not only himself but those around him. The thing I love most about him is he is passionate about making good with his time here on earth. I’ve been reflecting a fair bit on the legend the last few days and I want to thank him for showing me a strength that could hold up a forty story building, a heart bigger than a Bunnings car park, and a soul that would make any crooner stop in their tracks.
Go forward young fella and keep being you. I’m a better man for meeting you, a wiser man for hearing you, and a blessed man to now call you a friend.
