Hello everyone!
Bangkok is a vibrant, high-energy whirlwind! We returned to Wat Pho to soak in its history, tradition, and sheer beauty. You could honestly spend all day exploring and still want more, but the heat eventually drains your energy. Since I studied massage therapy there, we decided to book a session at the Wat Pho Thai Traditional Massage School. Sadly, the "massage palace" was fully booked—a huge bummer since I was really looking forward to it!

RUSSIA and MAYA.
Well, folks, gather 'round for a quick bulletin from the front lines of digital communication (or lack thereof!). Our dear Maya has embarked on an epic adventure to the land of borscht and ballet – Russia!

Now, before you start envisioning her sipping piña coladas by a crystal-clear Wi-Fi signal, let me paint a more accurate picture: her internet access is apparently powered by a potato and a prayer. And as for her social media updates? Let's just say some of her usual digital haunts are about as accessible as a secret Kremlin vault. So, if you've been wondering why your DMs to her are just echoing into the digital ether, now you know!

But fear not, anxious friends! We've received intelligence (via carrier pigeon, I believe) that she's hale and hearty, miles away from any seismic shindigs or tidal terrors. No need to worry about her dodging falling chandeliers or outrunning rogue waves; she's firmly planted on terra firma, enjoying whatever internet-free shenanigans Russia has to offer.

The good news is, her grand Russian escapade is drawing to a close. In about ten days' time, we anticipate her triumphant return to the land of smiles (and presumably, much faster internet). So, start prepping your "Welcome Back!" memes and get ready for a flood of delayed vacation photos. We're counting down the days until Maya and her proper internet connection are reunited!

A New Journey: Closing One Chapter to Begin Another

After much thought and reflection, I’ve decided to close my massage business. This has not been an easy decision, but it’s one that feels right at this stage of my life. I am embarking on a new journey to Thailand to deepen my knowledge and experience, guided by a Buddhist approach to Massage and life.

My massage practice has brought me immense joy and connection. It’s been an honor to help people find relief, relaxation, and a sense of well-being. However, I’ve always felt that there’s more to learn, and I’ve been drawn to explore the deeper roots of healing that come from within. Thailand, with its rich traditions and emphasis on mindfulness, offers a unique opportunity to expand my skills and personal growth.

This journey is about stepping outside my comfort zone, learning new techniques, and immersing myself in the Buddhist philosophy that focuses on simplicity, presence, and compassion. It’s not just about improving my work, but also about growing as a person. I believe this experience will give me a fresh perspective that I can bring back when the time is right to return to my practice.

I’m deeply grateful to everyone who has supported me and trusted me over the years. Your encouragement has meant so much, and the relationships we’ve built will always stay with me.

Although this chapter is closing, it’s not an end—just the beginning of a new path. I look forward to sharing what I learn and where this journey takes me.
