Through coaching you will explore your issues, set meaningful goals and find ways to make powerful changes in your life. WHAT COACHING CAN DO FOR YOU
All too often we feel stuck on the treadmill of life, jogging along at a comfortable pace, not really challenging ourselves, not really going anywhere. We feel dissatisfied, frustrated, demotivated and not particularly happy, but can’t see how to make a change. It’s easier and safer to stay where we are.
• Are there things about your life that you would like to change?
• Do you feel dissatisfied, but also a bit stuck, unsure how to make a change?
• Would you like to become a happier and healthier version of yourself? Whether it’s a difficult personal relationship, an unresolved family conflict, an issue at work, balancing parenting and work, or simply not finding the time to look after your own mental health and physical wellbeing. Life coaching helps you to identify personally meaningful goals and strategies to achieve them, thus allowing you to take control of your life and enjoy more success, happiness and fulfilment. A BIT ABOUT ME
Recently graduated from the ICF accredited Life Coaching Academy in Australia I am now a certified Life Coach. However, my journey began (quite a few years ago) in the UK with a psychology degree, followed by a teaching qualification and several years working as a classroom teacher. After marrying, I chose to become a stay at home mum, supporting my husband in his growing business, raising our three daughters and caring for our ever-expanding menagerie of pets. Once our girls reached school age we took the brave step of leaving friends and family behind to sample life in Australia. Despite ongoing challenges that we faced living so far away from family we chose to make Australia our home. Ten years later with the girls increasingly independent I began to think “Now what?” I tried relief teaching, sports coaching, volunteer work and even vet nursing, but nothing felt quite right. I craved a sense of purpose in my life beyond my family and wanted to draw upon the skills that I had gained through my studies and life experiences. I knew that I wanted to help others, particularly women like myself, and decided that life coaching would enable me to do this. Along the way I have faced my own life challenges and at times have found enormous benefit in seeking guidance from my GP, psychologists, counsellors, friends and family. When I first heard of life coaching the concept really appealed to me as it focuses on where you are now and where you want to be in your life, rather than dwelling on the past. It offers a positive and uplifting approach, empowering you to make changes in your life and take steps towards becoming the best version of yourself. I am excited to begin helping more women like myself to face their fears and live the lives that they really want.
